Root England's best bowler by a long way. Hartley's figures are pretty horrible

It's asking alot of inexperienced bowlers to win this but they have to bowl better next time.

Without that innings Hartley’s effort doesn’t happen.

They tell me he plays for Lancashire, but I've never seen this man with a red rose on his cap and I watch pretty much every game on LancsTV.

Hartley took 7 wickets on debut in India and contributed over 50 runs with the bat, but yes the 196 from Pope was outstanding and swung the game in Englands favour, well deserved MoM Ollie Pope.

This England team keeps on breaking records and when the 'Nay Sayers and Know Nowts' line up to criticize, they're usually shot down in double quick time, when will they learn.....

Looking forward to the next test which I believe starts on Friday

Well deserved. Without his knock England wouldn't have had anything to bowl at. England looked dead and buried on the first day but turned it around. The beauty of Test cricket. 

That victory will have shaken India.

You should never write off England team with Stokes as Captain, maybe should people will learn from this win like Jim Maxwell. Fantastic win by us. 

Pope's innings was fantastic and Hartley taking 7 wickets.
