Someone needs to tell Archer he’ll get another 2/3mph if he takes the bling off.

KP commentary is bloody awful also, great batsman, awful commentator, patronising.

I have just finished watching the match after taping it. What a turnaround, 5 wickets for 24 runs after a poor first bowling session. T20 cricket never fails to amaze. If spectators had been allowed this evening, many would have already left before the carnage began. It’s so satisfying to beat the Aussies, roll on Sunday for Match 2.

Archer now regularly bowling 90+ and looking so much more the bowler I always thought he should be. At this pace he’s one of the best in the world. Quite terrifying.

Going to struggle to defend this score though den, it’s a pity Archer can’t bowl 20 overs.
