Buttler and Livingstone couldn't be arsed tonight - Buttler having played his mandated 1 game a season for Lancashire on Friday.

We'll be missing Gleeson, Salt and Parkinson on Thursday in the QF too.

The ECB have made a farce of this competition.

Livingstone has asked from time away from Cricket according what Sky Cricket has said. I wonder if he is suffering some sort of mental problem or fatigue?

Lancashire won by 2 wickets

We did, but we tried our best to feck it up. Only a poor last over by Brookes giving us a streaky 4 and over height no ball handed us victory. As OJF said earlier, anything can happen in this format of the game. Lancs v Essex in the quarter final on the 8th July.

Hartley put in a decent all round performance.

David saving it for the QF and later.

I just knew Lamb would dolly that one ... Or hit it for a 6.

Odd about Livingstone, hope he's ok.

Lancs QF game is on Friday, no England game.

No chance imo. I’d be amazed. They wouldn’t pull a stunt like this whilst the 100 was on, barstewards.

It was good to see Lancs brought home by three local lads, Lamb (Preston), Hartley (Ormskirk) and Gleeson (Blackpool).

Didn't need time away when the IPL was paying him a fortune though, eh? Convenient that.

Well don't know what has gone on privately and I'm not going to be over critical here without knowing the exact circumstances.

The ECB have made a farce of this competition.

Which is what they want, constantly belittle it, move it around, bunch too many fixtures together, don’t release England players, so make it irrelevant… whilst they push the wholly ECB owned H*ndred in high summer and a clear schedule- and more fool the non Test ground counties for falling for it.

The ECB has become a corrupt grift operation also fond of holding kangaroo courts.

They are not fit for purpose and yet another example of the inherent problem of self regulation beholden to no one.

Just hope Matthew Potts can stay fit and keep improving cos I can see him being our number 1 bowler in a couple of years

His Durham team mate Carse is another to watch out for as well.

I would like to Jamie Overton and Sam Curran partner Matthew Potts in a very balance pace attack.

Carse's first class record aren't that good. 97 wickets in 35 first class games. Hardly setting the world on fire. Seems to be good white ball bowler tho. Needs to play more first class cricket

He needs to sort his injury issues out for sure but he's still young enough yet.

Great test cricket and pleased that Lees and Crawley got runs.

The first hour tomorrow will dictate the outcome.

To save my typing let me just say that I agree with everything that KP said on Sky post match.
