In an Ideal world we'd get Head and Cummins then rain or light stops play for the day. We don't want to be batting tonight 🤞

Well bowled to get them out tonight and we now have to chase 251. well done England.

Jim, we are going to win this and that's coming from a glass 3rd full punter.

Today and 2 full days to go ... surely a team of grannies could do it with their walking sticks.

There’ll be a couple of twists and turns no doubt but this has been another exhilarating test match. Hopefully we will knock these off without too much fuss tomorrow.

Wish I had your confidence mate. I’ve been following England so long to know anything is possible so it’s always best to fear the worst because the worst usually happens

2 days to get those runs. If we lose now we are terrible.

Proper Test batsmen would take 2 days if necessary

we need another 224 runs now tomorrow. Thought Crawley and Duckett played the 5 overs very well. Positive but smart cricket

Yes but some close incidents. Aussies could easily have got 2 wickets. All I ask now, with so much time left, is that the English batters return to time -honoured tradition and protect their wicket like their life depended on it. If its going down leg side resist the temptation to have a switsh at it. If its at your head--duck, don't wave the bat at it..

As long as we stay there the runs will come. Doesn't matter if its in the last hour of the game does it?

Or a stick of rhubarb as someone was always saying.

Michael Vaughan is the new Boycott, his criticism of Bairstow, Root or Brook is minimal. They’ve been a let down, say it as it is.
Boycott is a total hypocrite telling us that Yarkshire is Gods own country but not good enough for him to live there.

I watched a documentary the other day where Vaughan said his overriding ambition when he started was to play for the county of his birth and how proud he was to achieve that.
Well tell me Michael, geography isn’t your strong point because where I’m standing, Manchester has never been in Yorkshire.

but they didn't.

England should play their natural game and win the game by playing positive but smart cricket

Funnily enough Jim in a bizarre way I’m glad we are chasing 250 and not 150

From the POV of someone who doesn't wstch a lot of cricket this series has been absolutely thrilling to watch.

I've been using the Father in laws sky go account to watch it but its a faff. If it was on free view I'd watch a lot more cricket. Its a shame sky dominate so much sport.

On another note. Stokes was in the year above me at school. Absolute grade A cunt of a human being (teachers and students deacription) but my god what a fantastic sportsman he is.
