Didn't some guy on sky sports say we'd win by 4 wickets with woakes hitting the winning runs and we'd be done by tea. That ain't a bad shout at all!

Not sure what they’re going to do at ot. Unless the groundsman has something up his sleeve a flat batting pitch won’t be much good for jimmy who will only come in for Robinson. Bairstow shouldn’t play over foakes but suspect he will. Will pope come back in

I thought Pope had been ruled out for the rest of the series.

That was a relief. There's nothing better than beating this lot. Nothing. It's even better than beating Burnley

And a whitewash has been avoided - which is another relief. 

We're 2-1 down and the Ashes are still alive but the fact remains we should be 2-1 up but for some of the reckless, brainless that's been on show

The other lot aren't the best that's toured here by a long way and their best batters are struggling. They're eminently beatable playing positive, sensible cricket

Excellent win for England and never go against your team ever. Very good performance. 

Never in doubt here. 

These players continue to play in positive manner and I guess some on here don't like it and prefer a more defensive style of play but each player is responsible for how they play. These aren't t20 players in the team only and I find these sort of comments boring now. Stokes wants to play positive smart cricket and he has given clarity to the players that he won't slammed them for playing any shots they want to play. Brook played excellent and every player played their part in that victory.

Feeling a bit poorly I lay down on my bed just after Duckett forgot what guard he'd taken and nodded off.

Just woke up feeling a bit better and delighted with the win and also just watched YouTube highlights of today's play.

Bazball is scoring at 5 RPO or better to accumulate a decent score quickly before our batting flaws catch up with us. 

God bless Stokes, Wood and Woakes.

Chris Woakes is a terrific cricketer in English conditions.

It has been a magnificent series so far and both teams deserve immense credit. There’s hardly been a dull moment.

More than a poor do. How could they do this and why do they think it's acceptable? How about another idea, all the Tests to be played in the Midlands and north with not one in the south.? How would they like it?

Questions need to be raised in parliament and  the PM himself (a cricket fan for a northern constituency) should contact the ECB. .

2027 - Lords, oval, ageas, edgbaston, Trent bridge.

2031 - Lords, oval, Trent bridge, ot, headingley.

As long as London gets 2 games every series whether it’s a 5 match or 3 match that’s all that matters.
