wilsdenrover Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 (edited) That Mathews dismissal is an absolute shocker. Edited November 6, 2023 by wilsdenrover Quote

There should be allowance for safety issues like helmet straps being defective. Time allowed to replace it by the batting side and time allowed for the bowling team to get their overs in. 2 Quote

The rule is probably outdated anyway given how much time wasting is allowed by the umpires these days. I’m anticipating the Bangladesh captain getting some short stuff later on… Edited November 6, 2023 by wilsdenrover 1 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 England will stick with Matthew Mott as the White Ball head coach after this world cup. Matthew Mott will STAY on as England coach despite World Cup shambles (msn.com) Quote

No matter how much we despise the Aussies, you have to admit just what an incredible innings that was by the Big Show irrespective of the opposition. I hope they get to the final and lose by 1 run after a super over with Smith tripping over his own feet and failing to make his ground. I can dream…… 5 Quote

Fantastic attitude during his season with us. Turned out for a Championship match a couple of days after the Aussies had been knocked out of the 2019 World Cup. No chance any of our England players would’ve done the same. Edited November 8, 2023 by martonrover 2 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 I’ve just been reading how the Champions Trophy will be in Pakistan in 2025 but India’s matches might be played in the UAE. If India won’t play in Pakistan they shouldn’t be allowed to compete. If India can’t play in Pakistan the tournament shouldn’t be played there at all. Quote
Mattyblue Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 If that’s what India want, that’s what India will get. The BCCI controls the whole sport, the ICC just get to organise competitions on their behalf. 1 Quote
