RussP Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Anyone else going over today? I'm expecting GB to put out a strong side which should give us some clues as to his thinking come Derby away. Is Rochina & Rhodes his preferred front 2? Nunes or King, or both? Does he see Taylor as a centre midfielder or wide player? Who's the left back of choice? All undecided, I think. Great weather for it too, as well as an excellent chippy just outside the away end

kokkini Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Setting off now, gorgeous day, surprised there hasn't been more interest on the message board, optimist or pessimist, it's a game of football in the sun ffs, let the beers flow...
kokkini Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 £10 on the door according to the Rochdale website And if anyone is passing through Bury on the way back I recommend music festival at Trackside. Full day without the mrs and kid, happy days And if anyone is passing through Bury on the way back I recommend music festival at Trackside. Full day without the mrs and kid, happy days
Blueandwhitemike Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Nice, well i'm off over to Rochdale now, taking my Shanghainese girlfriend, she's excited to see her first football match in such an exotic place
chaddyrovers Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 ROVERS: Kean; Kane, Dann ©, Hanley, Morris; Judge, Lowe, Marrow, Taylor; Best, Rhodes. Rovers Subs: Orr, Eastwood (GK), O'Connell, R. Hanley, Kilgallon, Rosado, Pedersen, Formica, Fabio Nunes, Campbell, King. Rochina took a knock in training, Henley is working his way back from his hamstring injury and Williamson is recovering from a back injury Dunn also picked up a knock in the game against Fleetwood last Tuesday. Robinson is on the road to recovery following his operation and finally (i think), Markus Olsson felt his hamstring (and came off) in the win at Crewe last Tuesday so isn't risked. Will be interesting to see how the partnership of Rhodes and Best goes on. I have copy this from the Official Rovers twitter account btw. just like to keep people/fans inform who aren't on twitter
SoldierMo Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Chaddy are u roversone frm twitter or did u just copy andpaste all that? Cuz thats word to word what i just read on twitter
Brfcrule1 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Soldier he just copied and pasted it from one rovers he is not onerovers
West Yorks Rover Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Would be nice to see Best and Rhodes both get on the scoresheet maybe setting one up for each other. That would bode well.
West Yorks Rover Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Soldier he just copied and pasted it from one rovers he is not onerovers Its great to have Chaddy on here, he saves us all a lot of hassle, having to look here, there and everywhere trying to find stuff.
bob fleming Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Oh Jesus. We're getting beat off Rochdale. Time to put Iggy Pop's The Idiot on and end all this.
The Rover of Finland Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Not good enough even for Livescore.com anymore.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted July 20, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted July 20, 2013 Some lads on the back row shouting @#/? all half. Not a brain cell between them. One is an obese gobshite resembling Peter Griffin. Midfield still the issue. Best and Rhodes isolated.
West Yorks Rover Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Jason Lowe pings the free kick over the stand - quality !
Backroom Tom Posted July 20, 2013 Backroom Posted July 20, 2013 No Songo'o? Wonder if we ended his trial

Because if he does'nt we could be in big trouble this coming season.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted July 20, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted July 20, 2013 Scott Dann is still gash in case anyone had forgotten.
tomphil Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Scott Dann is still gash in case anyone had forgotten. No suprise to hear he was done for the first. Can't believe anyone really rates this guy, been same ever since he turned up. He has the odd oustanding game which clouds everyones judgement but apart from that he's been consistently poor .
rovers11 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Shots on target so far = 0. Same problem as last season still there, don't create anything. Needs to be addressed in the transfer market before the season starts.
