I love the idea of club officials returning the ball into play so the players could continuously punt it into the net. Like those old films where they're passing buckets of water down the line to put out a fire.

Banning them for life is well harsh though. It's comedy gold, they should make a movie about it.

Something similar happened this season in the German 5-6th league (I think). Two teams at the bottom of the league had the same points and one would go down on goal difference. Both teams won, one by 6-0, other by 8-0 (or similar scores) against mid table teams. Think they managed to score about 25% of their total season goals in that last game.... never made the media as far as I know.
