Baz Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Legitimate stream http://www.nowtv.com/sports?DCMP=ilc_2013_skysports_watch_signin You can even watch the Ashes or Hibernian vs Motherwell too
Backroom Tom Posted August 4, 2013 Backroom Posted August 4, 2013 Rochina starts behind Rhodes and Spurr at left back The duo of Lowe and Marrow start in the middle Kean Kane Hanley Dann Spurr Judge Lowe Marrow King Rochina Rhodes
RockinRover Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Bit disappointed that Marrow and Lowe are starting together but hopefully Rochina can provide the creativity. Also can't see how King has started ahead of people like Taylor and Nunes who can actually provide the final ball that King can't.
Blue n White Rover Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Glad Rochina starts. Not too bad that Lowe and marrow are starting now. Rochina can have the freedom to go forward without worrying about his defensive duties. Solid line up.
Backroom Tom Posted August 4, 2013 Backroom Posted August 4, 2013 Presumed Taylor has a knock as he's been one of our better players in pre season from reports I've seen
T.J.Newton Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Bittersweet team selection then Rochina In+ Marrow&Lowe In- Taylor dropped(slight surprise) Judge&King out wide. Id take a draw
Doug Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Pleased to see Rochina start although he will probably have a stinker now I've said that !
T.J.Newton Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Dunn, Best, Taylor, Givet, Cairney, Olsson and Eastwood on bench
Backroom Tom Posted August 4, 2013 Backroom Posted August 4, 2013 No place on the bench for Pedersen, wonder if we are working to shift him?
RevidgeBlue Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Bit disappointed that Marrow and Lowe are starting together but hopefully Rochina can provide the creativity. Also can't see how King has started ahead of people like Taylor and Nunes who can actually provide the final ball that King can't. My feelings exactly. Not too bad overall though. GB is obviously trying to give us a solid platform whilst still leaving us one or two potent attacking outlets. Just don't think King is capable of it in the long run.
patrickvalery Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I'd sooner have seen Taylor start and soften up their fullback before bringing on King to let him have a run at him late on.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 No place on the bench for Pedersen, wonder if we are working to shift him? Bloody well hope so. A package of him and Orr should have us beating them off with sticks.
BRFC1995 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 new season same failings.........King and lowe athletes not talented footballers, midfield again looks woeful where's cairney and taylor
GanG2245 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 surprised by king selection. maybe just to fireup taylor
blue_n_white99 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I just got 16/5 for us to win on skybet, worth a tenner. They would appear to be very generous odds, either the bookies think we are really poo or they have fekked up
imy9 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Looks a solid looking line up. Pleased to see Rochina starting, though can see both Cairney and Evans replacing Lowe and Marrow in the next few weeks.
Bundesburn Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Bloody well hope so. A package of him and Orr should have us beating them off with sticks. Sounds painful.
RevidgeBlue Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Robbo is in the Sky Sports studio. Didn't hear exactly what he said but it was along the lines that he is still on Warfarin tablets (blood thinner) and that's holding him back.

Didn't hear exactly what he said but it was along the lines that he is still on Warfarin tablets (blood thinner) and that's holding him back. Understandable, any kind of break to the skin and he would have major issues, essentially Warfarin, a type of poison for rats stops the blood from clotting, so even minor cuts can be a massive problem as an individual can easily bleed out.
SoldierMo Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Nunes, Pedersen and Morris travelled but didn't make squad meaning like of formica and Orr didnt so hopfully on way out....I cant believe Olsson gets on bench before Nunes...i think Olson is worse than Lowe
Amo Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Second, third, fourth the Rochina love. Surprised to see him starting away from home.
Veevs Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Ouch.. Lowe/Marrow combo has been woeful yet we start the season with it.. then again I suppose Evans will be available shortly (thank god). King is probably in for Taylor due to his pace, isn't that a weak spot with the current Derby defence? I actually prefer Rochina coming on as an impact sub myself, he causes a fair amount of chaos for the 5-10mins after he comes on and prefer a steady start (early game tempo in the championship IMO does not suit his skills).. but still at least he is in the side..
