xtp Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Is it bad that I'm actually kind of enjoying how bad King is? There's definite entertainment value in his constant hilarious failure. So long as it's not a match that matters too much,

darrenrover Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 How's King playing? Takes the heat off Jason Lowe!
Derbyshire Blue Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 How the hell was King ever on United's books, unbelievably poor

deazel Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Taylor is a real footballer. Reminds me a bit of El Hadji Diouf, good in possession out on the wing. Cairney looks good too, comfortable in possession, looking for the penetrating pass. Pity about King and Olsson...
Pelio Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I don't like slating players, but King has been very very poor. All pace, no awareness, selfish, can't strike a ball, can't cross - not great attributes for someone in a team that needs a goalscorer tonight. Time now for Nunes & Best I think and King needs go back to do a ton of work on the training field to get anywhere near the 1st team squad again...
Lurid Coat Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Cairney's looking more and more impressive, and may very well be exactly what we need in the center of the park. Hopefully Lowe and/or Evans can give him the protection he needs in order to play his technical passing game. Taylor's looking quite the player as well.
philduck Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 How the hell was King ever on United's books, unbelievably poor He was probably on their books as a ball boy--certainly not as a player
Clitherover Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Taylor definitely a highlight, up and down that wing, winning the ball, great crosser and can score goals. Best signing so far.

Agreed, he's going to be a vital player for us I think this season - very good display tonight
Jamesw1982 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 cairney is also a good free kick corner taker thats a bonus
BRFC1995 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 very very refreshing and long overdue to actually expect good deliveries from free kicks and corners................rather than seeing Pedersen stood over it with full knowledge/absolute certainty it will be completely wasted whilst the commentator winds me up further by claiming "we all know the quality Pedersen has in these situations".
xtp Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 If we had an actual striker on the pitch, we'd have buried Carlisle.
blue_n_white99 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Have we got an option to buy Cairney ? don't think so, he's on loan until January, not sure if there's a possibility to extend it.
perthblue02 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Songo'o trying the overhead kick there haha Reminded me of when you get the combination buttons wrong on fifa
Amo Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Good forward passing by Lowe but let's just ignore that.
perthblue02 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 don't think so, he's on loan until January, not sure if there's a possibility to extend it. Pity, if he continues doing well, sure others will be interested in him
Muddboy Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 How does Josh King get anywhere near the starting 11? He's absolute gash! Bags of pace but absolutely nothing else. Bowyer needs to realise quickly.
Jamesw1982 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 the sums josh king up in a nutshell great position n opportunity and nothing meh
RockinRover Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 People don't seem to understand Bowyer's seeing what these players have got and whether they're worth a try in the first team. We can't just throw a current first teamer on, this cup doesn't matter as the league is our priority.
