According to Sunday People, Rovers are about to appoint Des Taylor as new chief scout.

He was at Burnley last season, having followed Eddie Howe from Bournemouth. He left Burnley during the summer.

In the pickle we're in this is one of the most important jobs at the club. Hope he's up to it. Never comfortable bringing in an ex Dingle but let's see what he can do.

Burnley have found some quality cheap players from the lower leagues in the last 5 years or so, I don't know how many this guy had a say in.
