blue_n_white99 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Donkey lashers have just scored, they are running good
Backroom DE. Posted August 31, 2013 Backroom Posted August 31, 2013 King looked very good when he was on loan with us, which is I guess why we signed him permanently. A combination of injuries and poor form have made that look like a mistake - but if he keeps his form on this level he'll be a huge asset.
McClarky Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hope the Rhodes critics are watching. He has had a great game today all round.
Hekla Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Two great wins, Bowyer was right when he said stay patient.
Audax Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Goal, got it, Other results are somewhat favorable to the Rovers too....
perthblue02 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Rovers sub King for Morris, King getting standing ovation, Notlob supporters clearing off no doubt to get home in time for wee dougies good presser
Backroom DE. Posted August 31, 2013 Backroom Posted August 31, 2013 Hope the Rhodes critics are watching. He has had a great game today all round. Don't hold your breath. The moment he doesn't score they'll be on his back again.
The Rover of Finland Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hope the Rhodes critics are watching. He has had a great game today all round. And that's what I am worried about. Have been watching West Ham and without Carroll their attacking is shocking.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted August 31, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted August 31, 2013 'You're getting sacked in the morning' sing the Ewood faithful. Surely not wee dougie??
blue_n_white99 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Rhodes ...........................all he does is score goals why would we want to keep him.....................DUHHHHHHHH!!!!! All you naysayers hang your heads along with Mercerman's wee dougie
Torgeir Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Get Cairney signed up asap. Kane too. King has been immense today, just hope he can avoid injuries and start putting in some consistent performances from now on.
moerpho Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Well deserved applause for King. He's been immense today. And agree about Rhodes - how anyone can think selling him (to a rival no less) would be a good idea is beyond me. Great movement and his allround play's been really good today. Now PLEASE replicate this against Bumley!
Backroom DE. Posted August 31, 2013 Backroom Posted August 31, 2013 #prayformercer ... stay frosty pal
john-rover Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 If someone teaches King to finish we have one hell of a player
Jimmy612 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 And that's what I am worried about. Have been watching West Ham and without Carroll their attacking is shocking. It would take a huge bid now to let him go. We don't have the resources in the squad to replace him. If you were to sell him you would need a month or so to get him the 3 or 4 needed to strengthen adequately. To sell now would be suicide
rickard Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Josh King, something must have been wrong when I saw him at Carlisle, this is not the same player No wonder Martin Olsson called him "norway's Zlatan Ibrahimovic"... Although he might have been kidding. Still a great game from King

moerpho Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 5 mins added...still time to add a fifth. Josh King gets his deserved MotM.
Jimmy612 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 new to Venky's pal? 4-1 up over Bolton, playing well, enjoying our Saturday afternoons. For a second I'd completely forgotten all about them. It was bliss
SoldierMo Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 So v missd out on spearing and got Evans and Cairney....hmmm Ps wer id Mercerman?
Torgeir Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 No wonder Martin Olsson called him "norway's Zlatan Ibrahimovic"... Although he might have been kidding. Still a great game from King I think that was said because King's biggest fan is King himself. Fitting surname one could say He has potential but is still very very raw, good to see him tear Bolton apart as I for one have been doubting if he was good enough for a promotion hunting team.
