Well, no complaints from me today. Scored above average, conceded less than average, stuck it to wee Dougie and Alan Nixon whilst the big man Jordan Rhodes once again shows his critics that they don't have a clue :tu: a good day.

All over..great performance, two straight home wins and 9 goals scored. It's starting to be a pleasure supporting Rovers again. Now bring on the dingles! Mercerman...your wee dougie took a hell of a beating although I'm fairly sure you'll appear later to say you laid a bet on Rovers to win 4-1 and have bought a Porsche with the winnings and are now enjoying a nice Shiraz.. :D

Ohhh...close to 5! And on Bolton and "wee Dougie": thought they looked really threathening at the start of the 2nd half, but "wee Dougie"'s subs robbed them of all momentum thank god. Taking off N'Gog was a really poor choice thank god.

On the other hand - Bowyers subs somewhat rejuvenated us and when Evans scored soon after coming on it was game set match. I'm sooooo happy right now! 9 goals over 2 games and 4 for Rhodes. Just envy those who were at Ewood for both wins. Build on this, win against Burnley, hold on to Rhodes, hopefulle get at decent CB in and Dann out, and I think people will start returning to Ewood.

My stand-out players for today: King (MotM), Spurr, Rhodes and Dunn while he lasted. All-in-all a brilliant game despite some defensive blunders. COYB! :rover:

Just love watching a young, hungry team with pace, hunger and a bit of quality up front. Thought Dunn had a great game and shows that even if we get an hour out of him he can be a real asset for us.

While our defence looks shaky we're going to scare some teams with that attack. Thought Evans looked tidy in midfield when he came on, Marshall was quiet but his shot onto the post was class and we can expect more from him.

praying there isn't disappointment to come in the transfer window.

I thought Cairney looked superb as well moerpho. Kept the ball going and always looking for a forward pass. Instrumental for me. King well deserved MOTM, good to see Dunn show some class too. Good effort by all, Kean should have done better before their goal though.

Thought we played brilliantly today!

Everyone played really well, only negative's I could see was Danns usual poor defending, and Marshall where was he half the time? Didn't see anything good about him, he doesn't seem like a Bowyer type of player at all - just seem to hide away from being involved at all reminded me of a Danny Murphy performance.

Nice summary, fully agree. We actually played some decent stuff today, and 9 goals in two matches ain't half bad!

Getting the Cairney loan deal extended past January has to be a priority now, the boy's exactly what we've been missing since the maestro Tugay retired. Oh, and I'd quite like keeping Rhodes as well...

Fantastic result! Don't understand all the hate for Mercerman, is it simply because he says 'wee Dougie?' and thinks he is a decent manager? So

Many people on here so eager to 'stick it to people' rather than just being happy for us!

What a great game that was. Apart from the first 10 or 15 minutes of each half we totally dominated and gave them the humping they deserved. So many good performances, particularly King, Dunn and Rhodes. Becoming clear that Lowe is d decent player if he has someone alongside him who can play and either Cairney or Evans fit the bill there. Only weak area today was the middle of the defence which still looks to be crying out for a real leader.

  • Moderation Lead

And no 'they were down to ten men' excuse for the naysayers.

Although, any team with Zat Knight in defence might as well be.

He's only a footballer because he's 6'4. Useless.
