The Rover of Finland Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Will be watching. This a huge match and not just because it´s the derby for the fans. Can we take the third win a row and keep the feel good alive?
Backroom Tom Posted September 14, 2013 Backroom Posted September 14, 2013 Would anyone be tempted to put Dunny on the bench just to unnerve them a bit?
Hekla Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Nervous but excited in some way. I would be happy to draw to keep the record but we need a win to take us further in the table, three wins in a row would be amazing.
yoda Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Would anyone be tempted to put Dunny on the bench just to unnerve them a bit? good call
scrumpyblue Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Come On Rovers! A must win game for me, 3 points is vital. Beat the dingles. COYB!
Backroom Tom Posted September 14, 2013 Backroom Posted September 14, 2013 Same team but Evans in for Dunn Best not on the bench, obviously being punished but its daft not to have a single striker on the bench
adsfortheblues Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 When was the last time we won 3 in a row, does anyone know please? Cheers
MickeFIN Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Cant wait 30mins and then have to open SkySports1 what a sunny day, No nay never, No nay never no more .............................
RevidgeBlue Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Would anyone be tempted to put Dunny on the bench just to unnerve them a bit? No. Player for player we are much better imo so should win on a level playing field but anything could happen in a derby situation. Just hope we come away with no worse than a draw. Bowyer doesn't deserve or need the millstone of being the first Rovers manager to lose to them for 34 years round his neck. Win or draw and we can really kick on imo.
Bundesburn Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 When was the last time we won 3 in a row, does anyone know please? CheersCome back in about three hours and I'll tell you. Rovers 4-3, two penalties and a sending off.
Gav Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Best not on the bench, obviously being punished but its daft not to have a single striker on the bench Not sure if you're saying Best should be on the bench or another striker, but Best should be nowhere near the side on a day like today, he's obviously got ideas above his station, and to post what he did, he's a bit thick also.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 A huge match for our season - not just local pride, but top 6 and continued increase in confidence for what is a very young team.

Andy Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 0-0 or 1-1 written all over it. Two teams too scared to lose. Draw wouldn't be a bad result for us. As for those 'holier than thou' / 'this mean means more than the birth of my children' types: grow up and get some perspective. This is one game out of 40-odd this season, not some life affirming experience.
RevidgeBlue Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Best not on the bench, obviously being punished but its daft not to have a single striker on the bench I agree with that, we're sweating on norhing happening to Rhodes. If you were the Burnley set up you'd be tempted to target JR wouldn't you? Let's hope they're more sporting than I would be. 0-0 or 1-1 written all over it. Two teams too scared to lose. If it was a play off final etc I would feel completely different.

G Somerset Rover Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Blimey. Very worrying if anything were to happen to Rhodes today. As Rev said, I'd imagine Dyche will be telling 'em to kick him hard. Need to get Dj fit desperately if Best isn't going to play for us again. Think this will be a hard earned victory for us today, I'm going for a 2-1 win. Everything is crossed.
Blue Cabbage Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Excited, nervous, a little scared, control the game early and we'll be fine. COYB!!!

Backroom Tom Posted September 14, 2013 Backroom Posted September 14, 2013 Best may be a nob and hasn't proven himself on the pitch but if Rhodes falls badly on his injured hand we currently have nobody to call upon Punish the man yes but not at the expense of the team
Guest Norbert Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I think their family tree is like a tumbleweed with lines going up and across each branch as well as down T4E.
