T'owd hag bint .... I will hate that fat dolloper until I draw my last breath and I REALLY do mean HATE.

There have been a number of hate figures since the WT sold but who do you hate most Abbey? You can put em in order if you like. Choose from ..... Anderson, Balaji, Venkatesh, Kean, Aneuradha Desai, Shebby, Agnew?

btw Anybody can join in. :tu:

My hatred (currently) is solely towards Anderson and Kean with an intense dislike for Agnew who did so much to protect Kean from his own gob.

The Indians have not been malicious as I once thought they were being.... they have just been bloody gormless and naive imo. I'm coming around to the fact that they have been victims of a couple of opportunist spivs just as we are. Whether I change my opinion (again) depends very much on future events.

Shebby Singh is a loose cannon who presided over many pisspoor signings and one or two good ones. Rem Rhodes signing was virtually down to him. Personally I cannot dislike him too much cos he got rid of the Kean / Anderson /Agnew axis of evil.

Gormless and naive I can't really buy. It just doesn't fit with all the mega million business, somehow But I do loathe the..er... firm of solicitors, Agnew, Anderson and Kean most of all. Shebby is a vain, attention seeking embarrassment. Nasty piece of work, too, probably...the faceless brown envelope mode of dismissal speaks volumes. A world away from the decency of Bill Fox with Don Mackay.

.

I so resent the Slum Dog Millionaires for infecting our club with all of those mentioned above.

Would've should've could've. Why do you say that when he had a few chances v Doncaster last time out and spewed them all?

Rhodes is an excellent finisher without a doubt and I'm getting sick of keep saying so, but he is not as good a PLAYER / CENTRE FORWARD / FRONT MAN (delete as appropriate) as some on here think. Their are too many ignoring his glaring deficiencies through some sort of gooey eyed, star struck disposition . In my day he'd have been described as a tart liner and if I'd been in the team I'd be constantly rollocking him for lack of team effort.

Strangest thing about this debate is that after watching proper 'top line' strikers at close quarters courtesy of the increasingly maligned Walker years, players like Shearer, Speedie, Cole, Sutton, RSC, Bellamy, Benny Mac lots of our members in their judgement on JR are exhibiting the memory retention of an average goldfish. I realise that he JR is only a Championship level player and so it's very harsh to compare with the above but tbh the lad is not fit to even lace their boots. To roughly quote Cassius Clay many years ago 'If JR even dreams that he is as good as those guys he should wake up and apologise'. ^_^

I never said he was as good as the list of premier league strikers you list. Why would he be. They were obviously of a different quality so I have no idea why you wasted your energy even typing their names. You seem to have responded to me as if I have spent months fawning myself over our number 11.

However, as we are a Championship team in the market for Championship players, Rhodes is far better than what we have available at the club. The point I was making is that, whilst he doesn't contribute like an all round striker obviously does, its the half chances that he does score from that make a difference. He can be a good out and out striker at this level without being the Messiah you know.

I do however agree with all of this

A riot if we sold Rhodes?!

Rovers fans wouldn't riot if their kids Xmas presents were being covered in dog poo and stamped on by The Bald One on the centre circle.

We just aren't that type.

Politely grumble maybe, if you can make those lyrics fit...

At the end of the day the Rovers are a "selling" club and always have been - apart from a few seasons under Jack and Lawrence Cotton in the dim and distant past. I remember being devastated when Fred Pickering was sold to Everton at a time when we were fighting for the First Division Championship and Everton were one of our main rivals. Since then I've lost count of the "star" players we have sold but at the end of the day if the money enables the club to keep going that is far more important than any individual. Watching your best players being sold is just part and parcel of following a small town club. It's what makes the successful times all the more special.

Think those clowns are beyond help Gordon.

I remember being in The Brown Cow (near Ewood) after a game, and some guy was in there with a United shirt on watching the 530 game involving United, oblivious to just how much of a bell-end he was being.

I don't mind having a different view, although wanting a guy in jail who is guilty of nothing seems warped to me, but surely he is capable of putting that in a post of his own.

Has he been found innocent yet? You can't say is guilty of nothing yet.

Technically as he is still on bail I believe he maybe still be found guilty but as of yet nothing has been proven in a court of law.

He may also be proven innocent.

At the moment he is innocent of all charges allegations, and under UK law he isn't required to prove it.

That better? :tu:

At the mo they are allegations, not charges. When and if charged, the second bit is bob on.

KEAN

Anderson needed a stooge and that Keaning Kean stepped forward.

Agnews a useless Kean that saw an opportunity to make a few quid and up his slug like profile so he's just under Kean in the hate stakes.

That's pretty much how I see it currently. Have to stress the word "currently" though as they could become confused at any time.

It's always been naivity for me. Put another way, in football terms they're as thick as two short planks. Only when they 1) explain the financial position and how they will deal with it - and 2) surround themselves with good professional football people, will I personally believe that we are anywhere near to normality.**

** there's nothing normal about the current situation. If it were normal, it could continue, and it patently can't.

Anderson top of the list for me. Yes he needed a stooge in Kean, but he'd probably have found someone else regardless for Venkys to pass all power to.

He engineered the whole thing and he was the puppet master. Kean just smiled and waved.

^^^ This

He also found venkys which started the grand mess. He needs to be top for the sheer bare face cheek of making us sign his son

I bet he couldn't believe his luck when he stumbled across that lot. And i'd bet my house that it was party boy Balaji that was his first encounter. All the tantric discipline in the world wouldn't have slowed down that metaphoric orgasm.

For anyone who actually believes that there was / is any evil intent from the Indians needs to mull the situation over a little more imo. Heavens, they have taken 3 years to realise the magnitude of the problem and only in recent months have we seen any attempt to halt the club from haemorrhaging money. I have always felt they are little more than extremely fortunate rich kids who have been the victims of an elaborate (or not so elaborate) scam. For the life of me i cannot see how they were sold the idea. The notion that an egg production and distribution company can benefit from buying a football club is as mad as a football club trying to market itself by purchasing an egg production and distribution company. Its baffling.

In fact, it's the fact it is so baffling which has surely been the reason the conspiracy theories were born. It's so out there that it makes more sense to some that it must be a betting scam or gangster driven facade.

Kean (for so many reasons), Anderson, SEM, Huber, Kentaro & any other agents involved, Agnew, Venkys, Orr, Vineeth, Skysports (Jim White in particular), Murphy, Moyes, Gabby Yorath (even that hag had a pop)..i could go on and on...

Apart from no.s 1&2 order is subject to change depending on mood, future events, info etc !!!

Totally agree with this. Anderson is the guy who's ruined our club. Venkys were the gullible idiots who he conned and Kean was the moronic idiot who he recruited to be the fall guy. But the only person who set out from the very start to ruin the club and fill his own back pockets is Anderson. Still haven't watched that interview of him where he pretends to start crying, think it might actually provoke me to hunt him down.
