i didn't expect the paranoia to start this early. well played sir!

Based on the 'rumours' you hear Rovers no longer exist, Wee Dougie is managing Brazil and Rhodes is about to leave for Accy on a free. :)

It's definitely you who needs to get out more...or less.

Duffy jumped on Hanleys back when he scored in the Wigan match. Was this an ironic display of disdain or a pre-meditated attack?

If my recollections are correct, It seemed to me that Hanley didn't welcome Duffy's congratulations and shrugged him off to an extent that Duffy ended up on the floor. Seemed strange to me at the time.

As for made-up, trying getting out of your office and putting yourself about a bit - surprising what you hear. Based upon the 'rumours' I have heard, I would suggest there is more than likely to be some strong foundation there.

What Rumours and who from?

Im still fuming about it, its treating people with contempt and like they are thick.

I don't remember who claims GB doesn't get a cut of transfer fees, but I've worked with enough salespeople to tell you thats a reaction I have only seen from someone personally making money out of the deal.

Disagree. (Not about it being a stupid interview or disgraceful but that he gets a percentage of the fees.) Personally I think it's his success criteria so mentioning it is why Venkeys keep him in a job. Reminding them that however inept he is at getting success on the field, he can get a good mark up on a player.

And I know, promotion would be a much better way of dealing with our financial mess, but Venkeys logic is somewhat warped.

Yeah, I hate to admit it but he's slowly turning more and more into K**n by the day

Been saying that for a while . He , like kean , tries the Bertie bullshit approach after matches. How many games have been woeful and he bigs it up and his sheep on here baa in total agreement .

What Rumours and who from?

Rumours .. Your bestest word

From the horses mouth I believe, a player no longer with us, fit for the majority of last season not picked to play on orders from above.

Still when you have absent owners it is easy to get away with that kind of thing and present it as a cost saving.

Don't you think Dunn would've joined Bolton, Preston or one of the other clubs in the championship if he was up to it?

We all know what he can do - but have we all conveniently forgot that Dunny had been doing a Darren Anderton impression for about 5 years?

I have to agree with blue boy- every other championship team passed him up and that settles it. Good career that could've been so much better.

Still can't help to feel raw regarding his comments to the press in 2012/13 or whenever it was also.

If you ask Dunny himself he'll tell you he was fit for most of last season but Bowyer chose not to play him.

What you need to find out jbizzle is who told you Dunny was injured and when.

That's very true JAL, and certainly for me, that is something that left a sour taste in the mouth, considering the creativity vacuum in the centre of our midfield for large parts of last season.

BUT, if he was up to it now, then surely someone placed higher in the FL than Oldham would have snapped him up?

There was a game last season before Duffy was dropped. They didn't look at each other and we're literally 35 yards apart. Both having an absolute nightmare of a game. It was then I noticed there doesn't seem to be much love lost between them and something going on.

Hanley is progressively turd, Uncle Gaz dropped the wrong one. Duffy and Kilgallon for me.

He's a year older now. At his age, the legs certainly decline quicker no doubt. Especially considering his struggles with fitness even in his younger years.

I don't think Dunn should have been a starter, but he certainly had a role to play last year. He showed it vs Burnley the season before when we fell apart after taking him off (Bowyer's subs/tactics cost us that day).

I am sure he could have got a bit-role at a lower Championship club, but why risk joining a team where you could find yourself only playing a handful of minutes here and there?

At Oldham he will get a decent amount of gametime and hopefully he will enjoy his football again. I am sure that's why he made the decision to drop down the FL.

Assuming 'Gaz' is correct about the % mark-up on RG then this confirms a deal worth £6million and not £8million ! If it was £8million, I think you can rest assured 'Gaz' would be peddling 4000% for all he was worth !

As for Dunny, I think a number of us have heard the rumours that he was fit for selection for about 80% of the games but simply not chosen.

IMV, Bowyer is quite some way from being the popular, respected 'gaffer' that local journalists and the Bowyerettes would have us believe.

Id agree that at least one of the criteria from venkys is to buy cheap and make money, but although I have no evidence, his comments do sound remarkably of someone who has personally benefitted from the deal. If Wheelock is on here, as I believe he frequents the site from time to time, maybe thats a question that can be directly asked - does the manager or the MD financially benefit from selling players.

Fair enough. To me it always sounds like he's desperately trying to justify his position as manager.

Besides, Venkeys have massive history with player value increase. K**n banged on about it all the time.

Sean dyches voice sounds painful to speak with like he must be in actual pain every time he opens his mouth. But gazzy though should come with drowsy warnings I'm glad I'm not driving. Certainly won't need a lot of rocking tonight after he's finished.

If I was a player I'd be much more worried about letting Dyche down than I would Bowyer.

Dyche has presence.

Now its Dycey ffs does he have to put a Y at the end of ever dam name

People in general do it quite a lot. Sports people especially do - English cricketers and Dyche himself for instance. There are valid reasons to question and criticise Bowyer. God only knows why some can't seem to focus on those and are seemingly obsessed with this triviality.
