That's the thing though, despite Bowyer's insistence, I don't think we ever actually do have a right good go!!

It's quite often we do... in the last 5 mins when it's too late and he's actually thrown an attacking sub on because we are losing. It's happened regularly under him even going back to the Cardiff & Derby games early last season. Both games so far this season, the last 5 mins is in mind when the microphone gets plonked under his nose just after the game. Like a boxer who covers up and just survives for ten rounds then throws frantic desperate flurry's of punches in the last two and then complains he didn't get decision.

When the manager's remit is not to consistently win football matches but to turnover a profit on players, that scenario is bound to breed complacency.

1) Does anyone have an inkling of what it would take for Bowyer to be sacked by Venkys? 5 losses in a row? bottom three in November?

2) Does anyone know who would be tasked with building a shortlist if replacements? Would it be Shaw? Or some other party?

Surely they'd have to look at it if we were rooted to the bottom after ten games with say one win and a draw to our credit.

It's the presumably that worries me... I wouldnt bet my house on it especially after Venkys got stung by his last appointment..

And wven if he did would we trust him to find a better manager than Bowyer?

Because I reckon he'd rather lose 2-1 than 3-1. It's pretty pathetic really and an insult to us fans IMO. I wonder if Bowyer(and Chaddy) will blame the players if we lose on Sat?

1) I think it would be up to Shaw to recommend Bowyer's sacking. I'm not sure Venky's are particularly aware of our overall league performance.

I know, their "Bowyer Bullets" are running out and there's not much noise from their quarters at the moment.

You know what I'll make a prediction. If/when we replace Bowyer all the Gazzateers will be on the new managers back after a couple of dodgy results!
