Thanks, Colt.

Good information. That may worry my staff connection at the club.

He's currently very happy working for GB.

I don't blame him. Everyone has to be selfish and put their own livelihoods and security above anything else.

It does illustrate our troubles.

At board and staff level,

A complacent comfort zone means Rovers continue to amble aimlessly.

If you don't mind me asking in what way is he happy working under GB. Is it the nice guy thing or the pleasant easy going enviroment. Or is it a genuine belief in what's going on ?

Don't agree with that Gav. With the right advice they'd do it.

Would a strong manager want to work with the people who run the club in England? That's the question. And more to the point would the people in England want to work with a strong manager? That really is the big one.

Venkys, could walk away tomorrow, have done nothing etc etc scumbags, but they keep going. I'm no finance expert, shall we ignore that bit about 20+ million going in? , but there are people on this website who claim...

1. Fire sale. Sell all the best players. Yet Rhodes is still here - and I don't believe anyone will meet their asking price. So it's not the money....

2. We just get young players in. That's how they'll make money. Yet promotion will make more money in one season EVER. So that's not it either....

3. That they could pull out tomorrow. Maybe. But that would mean the Bank of India taking a massive loss. Or maybe they're in on at as well as someone close to me suggested midweek. Again, I can't see that happening either...

They're loaded. Yet they listen to wrong uns. The problem is closer to home. Bowyer is too easy. Have a think. Who gets away easy in all this?

With the right people in situ, the right advice, we'd do very well I believe. They just have to start listening to the right people. That's the trick.

Edit: I missed a bit. And God knows how that'll ever happen. Although I've heard people are still trying.

Venkys have absolutely no reason whatsoever to still be involved with Blackburn Rovers, why theyre still here nobody knows.

They're putting money into the club without a hope of getting that money back, Why?

They continue to surround themselves with people that know very little about football, Why?

I take all your points on board pal, but they'll never get things right, we're to far gone for that now as far as I'm concerned.

I can't even say I live in hope, because I don't, I want them gone, then the club can start to rebuild, until that day comes we just slump from one crisis to another with Shaw as chairman and Bowyer as manager.

He definitely thinks Bowyer is a nice guy (I've met GB once and he was charming. Doesn't change my opinions of him though)

Hes said before that its an enjoyable environment.

And last year's dressing room spirit was the best he has known it (at Rovers).

Who can blame my friend? Hes An exciting and well paid occupation, and relatively stress free.

Bowyer genuinely seems a nice guy, trying his best, but promoted beyond his abilities.

I don't get all the animosity towards him, someone compared him to **** the other day which is when this site loses all credibility and perspective for me.

I never post speculation on here, but I was talking this morning to someone linked to the club (I will add no more detail on that) who told me that there is real concern and that Bowyer basically has until October to prove his worthiness.

We shall see...

Cheers for that snippet.

My opinion is he's untouchable, just made the owners £8m, he's here for the long haul, but we'll see.

His comments in the press are Kean like.

Fans see through it, and it's insulting (now with snide insults).

Again, it's self preservation.

I'd love GB to show some class, honesty and passion.

Fans may then respect him.

But, then again...

The fact remains; GB is a terrible football manager in every single aspect.

I don't read his comments really, maybe I'll start to take more notice.

As for him being a terrible football manager, he's just made the owners £8m pal, so they'll beg to differ. Add to that he doesn't seem to lose 3 games on the bounce often, good attributed to have, the rest he's useless at!

So does this tie in with the three year target Bowyer was given/agreed to:

Year 1: Top ten finish

Year 2: Top six finish (failed)

Year 3: Promotion (not looking likely)

I travelled to and from a couple of away games with a Rovers Board member last season.

He told me GB had been "called in by the Board to justify performances and explain what was going to be done to improve".

Clearly:

1. The Board have little influence;

2. GB has friends in Poona as Team performances have retarded.

I will give him until late October. Not sure what year mind ;-)

I think the 3 year plan works on a Groundhog Day basis so after failing the Year 2 target we went back to Year 1 and could be there a long time.

Is the Madame a resurrection of Pol Pot?

Watching the end of last season, and how we've started this season, it is concerning.

GB is not getting the most out of the squad, and that is going to get harder as players are sold.

More concerning is that no-one at Ewood is going to want to rock the boat.

In answer to your first three paragraphs Gav, I don't know! I have no idea what they're getting out of this. I can only speculate...

1. The money means nothing to them. They're loaded.

2. They're too busy to even think about the club - and therefore leave it to Bowyer and Shaw. Plus, as they admitted - they don't even like football (by that I mean Venky's, although you could put an argument together about Shaw who of course is a Preston fan. I'll let someone else make the same joke about Bowyer).

Again he stood hands in pocket all the time .one time only I saw him clapping madly at what I have no idea . His body language is awful. No inspiration what so ever .

There was a pass that sailed out for a throw-in way over Conway's head. GB just stood there.

Any manager worth his salt should have shown at least SOME anger.

He's just not going anywhere, it's infuriating. Even a loss at Brighton and at home to Bolton wouldn't see his position in any doubt. The guy is as bullet proof as Kean was.

This is the crux of the problem. No accountability for results.

We hear plenty of rumours that he has targets but he allegedly failed last season and is still here. He has been bigging up his success in making player sales for massive mark-ups and is still here.

My mate tonight spotted Bowyer high five an opposition player and ruffles his hair and remarked that it's like he's at an U18 or U21 game. His M.O. is developing individual players for the first team, rather than building a team to compete together. That first team used to be Rovers', now it's anyone else's. The principle is the same.

Until we equalised I was thinking of starting a Go Now Gary thread tonight.

Does anyone else think he should realise we are not going anywhere under him and he should resign in the interests of the club ?

Frankly, I've had enough.

He does this every damn game Stuart. Always having a laugh and a joke with the opposition manager, 4th official etc.

Tonight he had just bellowed in the lads ear while trying to get the attention of our lot!
