Thought Mark Warburton had already gone to Rangers but maybe not as caught the tail end of an interview with him on Talksport tonight.

Absolute breath of fresh air. Thought there was no such thing as the "right way" to play the game just "your way" and that if you could be successful with a long ball direct style then good luck to you but he preferred a more passing style and he liked players who were comfortable on the ball and in possession, he thought that made them good players.

Also liked concentrating on youth, thought you could get good hungry players that way, with a couple of good senior pros in the side to mentor them.

Spent a year out learning stuff at various Clubs across Europe including Sporting Lisbon and Barcelona. Said the most impressive thing about Barcelona was not what they did on the pitch or training ground but what they did OFF the pitch: I.e. their code of conduct for how they behaved, lived and conducted themselves off the pitch.

We should have been in for this guy long ago with a salary that would tempt him plus the same again in bonus were he to take us up.

Ok boys, leave you to it,nothing changed on the forums, every time I come on here, same old story,if anyone (Chaddy,Parson,me etc)tries supporting the club, try to be a little optimistic, you are straight down our throats,no wonder Birdie,Pittard and the rest of the diehards don't come on here, just try supporting the club through thick and thin, whatever we think of the Venkys,at least they have kept season tickets as cheap as chips, have you seen Dingles prices, just heard Hull tickets cheapest £531,and just remember when you were all creaming in 1994/95 saying Rovers forever,Rovers ttill I die,did you really mean it,that same season Bournemouth just saved themselves from relegation from div 2 on last day, wonder what their supporters were saying then, and what they are saying now, life and football goes in circles, roll on the new season, onwards and upwards,COYB.....

Aaaaand breathe. You get what you pay for don't you? I'd gladly pay what Burnley fans are paying for some passion, a proper manager and a general better standard of football.

Get off your high horse and enrol on an English course.

I remember when some of those 'diehards' would have been leading the revolt and wouldn't have put up with how the club has been raped and pillaged by that lot in Pune.

But no, some of the 'diehards' decided the right course of action was to attack the protesters!

Brilliant eh? A master stroke? Or just plain thick?

More worried about number 1 fan status more like, someone stealing a bit of their lime light.

I could go on but I'll leave it at that, it's not fcuking worth getting wound up about.

Then don't :D

Obviously rollocks but would be made up if this happened:

@BSNNSports: Blackburn Rovers could sack Gary Bowyer within the next 48 hours. Mark Warbuton being touted as a possible replacement. #brfc

from Kamy on twitter about these reports on twitter:-

Twitter chatter about GB being sacked not true. Meeting with owners not happened yet but he retains support of Mrs D.

It's like Kean all over again. How many times did the good folks at Twitter tell us he was imminently going to be sacked before the bald one finally took the initiative and resigned?

Disclaimer: Not comparing Kean and Bowyer, etc etc.

Too many. That's one reason why twitter is the worst thing to happen to football.

Just give it a couple of weeks and the @intheknowagent twitter accounts start appearing with breaking transfer stories.

How do you know he retains the support of her? Surely they would have met by now, if he had her support, especially considering Bowyer said something along the lines of him wanting to get his transfers deals done quickly.

Warburton sounds a good replacement, although there's plenty chasing him. Fulham, Rangers and Sheff Utd. are all clubs which I've seen mentioned.
