Drink at Oakenhurst farm by all means but do not eat there under any circumstances.

As for pubs, pretty sure Uncle Jacks, the blackamoor and the clifton are all open until 3 on xmas day. They're a short taxi ride away for you.

That is not good as Oakenhurst are our breakfast place, what is so bad with the food? There is a Shell on the other side close to Travellodge is that open?

Limit it to breakfast, you'll be okay. The main meals are all pre prepared and microwaved when ordered. I know of at least 4 separate people who have been ill after meals there.

No worries though, there's a Greggs up the road.

First of all i have to say a big thanks for the help on here from all;-) Everything set for our trip now in two weeks. One question though, are all pubs closing at 4pm on christmas day?? We arrive around 2pm so is it possible to get some food and a pint at all in Blackburn?
