Just seen the incident on SSN, Campbell had a 50/50 with the keeper and Jack Robinson pulled on his big boy pants and got in his face then DJ went for the headbutt then it's was 3 on 1 with hands flying everywhere, no wonder best got involved. Always remember Craig shorts last match that was a brilliant red.

Anyone who saw it will know that it wasn't Campbell's fault, the Blackpool defender started pushing him, Best only came on the pitch to drag Campbell away.

In my opinion more rovers players should've stuck up for Campbell. If Hanley had been playing he would've stood up to them.

 Kin ell! Arguably stupid bloody Hanley has cost us 6 points to date with another match warming his arse in the stands still to come and you want him in the thick of a scrap. I despair.

Are thendingles the real deal? Can we take some kudos since we are the last team to take points from them. Good result today and sounds like a much better performances

I don't necessarily think you have to be the real deal to do well in this league. They have a good manager, a striker bang in form in Ings and a full back in Trippier who puts in extremely dangerous balls from the right hand side, all the rest are just average hard workers.

They have only used about 13-14 players all season and from what I hear from their fans who are friends they don't have any back up players. I think the house of cards will crash down when injuries come, but when teams are on good runs the "niggly" injuries don't seem to come ... Unlike our injury list!!

Well that supports what I thought at the time - that Blackpool should have had two sent off not one.

Overall a good match - we were unlucky to be 2-1 down at half time - and thoroughly deserved the equaliser after dominating the second half (though without creating too many chances).

Most players played ok - without sparkling. Williamson is a poor mans Evans - while King is still central to our attacking. Thought Judge showed some good touches - but was too easily muscled off he ball by a physical, big Blackpool side.

I've always wondered if the length of an injury list is related to league position. What I mean is that teams doing well with a good team ethic very rarely suffer niggly injuries.

It's the old rubber dinghy men scenario.

Great resilience from the team. Coming back twice against a team that is unbeaten at home. Good point but need to consolidate it with a win next weekend.

Great stuff from Best. A player that gave a damn and looked after his own boy. Anyone criticising him needs to give their head a wobble.

Well I criticised him and I won't be giving my head a wobble. Totally unprofessional - looking after his own boy?

Yes. Not sure if you have seen his Instagram, but him, DJ, Etuhu, Sango'o and Raheem Hanley are very close and 'boys'.

If one of my close team mates was surrounded by 11 Blackpool players, I'd have done exactly the same as Best. Fair play to him. Gone up in my estimation today.

Well, I guess my head is wobbling.

The points made by the summariser on Radio Lancs were on the following lines:

Bowyer's inexperience as a manager showed by his making no efforts to get Best off the pitch after he had encroached.

That Best was only marginally trying to calm Campbell down.

That he seemed to be mainly winding up Blackpool players when he had no right to be on the pitch.

That he was escorted down the tunnel by the Police.

Seems to fit in with his efforts for the first team this season.

Needless to say after that stupid post that you certainly haven't gone up in my estimation.

A bit like a gang then eh? What did he achieve by running on? In 50 years I have never seen anything like this before and I sincerely hope Bowyer has the balls to hammer him.

My view on the Campbell/Best incident...

1.Campbell went in for a 50/50 challenge with Blackpools keeper, no harm done.

2.Blackpool players didn't like it, DJ was surrounded by orange shirts with arms flying everywhere.

3. Leon Best ran onto the pitch to try and protect him (Stupidity in my eyes but was heat of the moment)

4. Best and Robinson were sent off, Best appeared to follow them down the tunnel.

5.About 30 seconds later stewards and staff from both benches were running down the tunnel as if something was kicking off.

6. Best reappeared on the bench for a minute before police escorted him away.

Hope this helps people who weren't there today. Just hope Best didn't go overboard in the tunnel otherwise there could be serious consequences leaving us with just Rhodes as an available striker.

After seeing the goal I think that once again it's rank bad goalkeeping from Kean

He was slightly unsighted but that shot shouldn't be going in from there

If Best was escorted away by the police and did not get a red card I can only assume he was being questioned about something. And if he went down the tunnel after Campbell and Robinson then the likelihood is he has been questioned about an incident in the corridor outside the changing rooms.

At the time we thought the ball was deflected but having just seen it on TV I think he should have done better.

Personally I love it when Rovers players stick up for each other. It indicates team spirit and a resolution not to be physically beaten. In the game against Derby, Best was getting some aggro at some point for pretty much nothing (other than him bossing them all second half) and Hanley came over and put a stop to it. I thought great, this is my kind of team.

But unfortunately football has gone down a very nauseating path for me when it comes to who gets punished for what by referees. The idiot starting the trouble is usually the one that gets away with it, the guy defending himself/a mate is usually the one who gets punished. Add to that no leeway whatsoever for common sense (you "raise your arms" and your off, how ludicrous is that!) and unfortunately football seems to have outlawed honour and camaraderie.

Haven't seen the incident yet but feel very reluctant to criticise Best going off people's descriptions of what happened.

You could argue the the Blackpool player was sticking up for his mate after Campbell clattered the keeper. Having seen the incident just now Campbell goes to headbutt Robinson after being attacked by him. For me it's two bang to rights sending offs. You can make your own mind up about Best but I feel he was totally unprofessional.

I think it's absolutely key. If we had Evans, Henley, Hanley (suspended not injured), Robinson, and Rochina/Dunn in the team today then we'd have a very strong team. If we can get our best 11 out each week then I think we're up there with the best in this league (on paper). Unfortunately, we never seem to be able to get our best 11 out there at all.

Why did we sign Campbell !

Seemingly Michael bleeding Appleton tied us into it. Judging by Campbell's comments shortly before the start of the season he wasn't particularly over the moon to be here and the arrangement didn't seem to suit Bowyer either if the rumours about trying to offload him before he started were correct.

I'm a bit confused over the Best situatuon. Was he sent off or yellow carded? As useless as I think he's been on the oitch thus far I can't see what all the fuss is about if he was merely trying to protect DJ and picked up a yellow for his trouble.

I think some people are overreacting to our performance and result on the messageboard that haven't seen the game.

Firstly it was a disgrace to get into the stadium almost 10 minutes after kick off considering that I got there at 2.50. Everyone had to queue around the block to have their tickets checked by a couple of stewards, and then go in and use a further electronic turnstile.

Anyway, our best 2 players in my opinion were Judge and Cairney. They linked very well with the overlapping Kane, with one move in particular seeing Judge turn brilliantly but Gilks saved his shot. I think Judge is alot better than Marshall and suited the number 10 role with Cairney helping. King was quieter but grew into the game.

Kean again was far from convincing, and although his penalty was good, Rhodes looked off the pace, there were a couple of occasions where he could have run through but he couldn't get the ball under his control and run on quickly enough.

We deserved something from the game, and for me the sending offs helped us in that the game massively opened up, we went all guns blazing and got some luck with the own goal.

No real problems from me regarding Best as he dragged Campbell away from more trouble, when I saw him run on I kind of expected him to start fighting.

I didn't see Best getting booked at all, I'd think there will be consequences to the tunnel brawl though.
