Backroom DE. Posted October 31, 2013 Backroom Posted October 31, 2013 Yep, can't speak ill of the lovable Geordies. They aren't neanderthals like us and Pardew not an angel like St. Stevie

darrenrover Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Brilliant post, Onlyonejackwalker, but lets not give Venky's all the credit (although I bet one has probably played a bigger role than the other three) for setting a once well run club on the path to destruction, many have provided invaluable help and made a few quid on the way there's the just like a family member fully approved FA Agent and his friends in sunnier climates, there's the ex FA Business partners and not forgetting the FA themselves and off course not forgetting the collaborators within another link with the FA there (although a silent one).. Wonder why it's all been allowed to happen in the incorruptible English game? You would think the games governing body ( well those that are left and not gone off to work for sporting agencies) and the broadcaster of "greatest league in the world" would be all over something like this wouldn't you? Perth, whilst Sep Blatter is top of the tree, setting policy and Football's police chief, what chance the rest? Russia and Qatar great locations for a World Cup FFS? I wonder what the criteria was for deciding that? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ?

Our lot did'nt offer enough bribe money, they should have taken a leaf out of our Olympics bid team ! Was'nt Tory Blair involved in that ?
Guest Norbert Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 The FA couldn't afford Blair. He's not interested unless it's a wheelbarrow full of cash and a free holiday.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Another good Guardian article today about Cardiff and agents. Cardiff foreign owner engaging agent behind managers back, and low and behold player turns up, played 31 minutes of footy in 18 months.......beware idiot owners?
Guest Norbert Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Sounds familiar. Get out whilst you can Malkay!

Certainly can't be Myles Anderson then....... Might be the new Dennis Irwin though. I'd wager the Dark Lord is all over that club like a rash as we speak.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 2, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted November 2, 2013 Definitely. If not him, then another agent rubbing his hands with glee.
thenodrog Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 30m+ eh? Venkys can reconsider their position all they like ..... but I can't see anybody else choosing to consider any position at BRFC. Even if the supporters would pay the going rate which I dopubt they will it's still all going downhill at a record pace. We need to replace 'Arte et Labore' with 'Promotion or Bust'.

The net debt is at £54m as well. Promotion or bust indeed. Full article for those that haven't seen it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24787872
den Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 If they had sacked Kean, rather than sending stewards in to fight the fans, we might still have been a PL club with little debt. To think some fans were against protests. Idiots.
den Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Oh, better explain, the idiots comment was addressed to Venky's!
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 They are a disgrace, they don't speak, rarely attend, have presided over 2 1/2 years of turmoil and relegation. Just knob off and take your debt with you. Don't dabble in things you don't understand!
thenodrog Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 If they had sacked Kean, rather than sending stewards in to fight the fans, we might still have been a PL club with little debt. To think some fans were against protests. Idiots. Close season 2010-2010. Thats the summer that I binned my ST and when I decided that no more of my money was going to Pune. Hasn't done any good but maybe if everyone had decided to stay away from Ewood it would have forced their hand to sell much earlier and if a buyer could have been found back then all this might have been avoided.
Stuart Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Close season 2010-2010. Thats the summer that I binned my ST and when I decided that no more of my money was going to Pune. Hasn't done any good but maybe if everyone had decided to stay away from Ewood it would have forced their hand to sell much earlier and if a buyer could have been found back then all this might have been avoided. This can very easily be translated into blaming the fans who carried on supporting the team. How about if everyone had marched from the town hall, and stopped Kean calling us 1%? But then this debate has been done to death; nothing we could have done would have made the blindest bit of difference. I think most agreed that ultimately it was Venkys who were to blame for all of it. Those who didn't, well...

Guest Norbert Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Seconded. There might be some handy 'technical issue' that prevents it being made, but you never know they might be confused and it'll slip the net.
Craigman Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Think you should change your search in the top right hand corner though !!
Guest Norbert Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Probably a reference to a Burnley fan in a much earlier picture. Or maybe that sort of thing is really popular in east Lancashire.
booth Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Think you should change your search in the top right hand corner though !! Haha, google it. Edit: Actually, google it and add the word Burnley or you might get more than you bargained for.
thenodrog Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Think you should change your search in the top right hand corner though !! Line from Misfits last season if I rem rightly.
