tomphil Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Well, after the Charlton performance, this is a BIG game for Bowyer. Another team having a miserable season walking away with ANY points isn't acceptable today. Forget formations and who plays for a second... What I want to see is urgency, possession and sustained pressure that creates chances. I don't want to see players strolling to take throw-ins, free kicks and corners. I'm not interested in who we're playing, I'm more concerned with our boys performing to their best which they haven't done regularly enough so far. One word to describe Blackburn Rovers this season is inconsistent, that's the only thing holding us back from a successful season. The players are good enough, the games are winnable and hopefully we crack on today. Great preview by the way, top notch! That word describes todays opponents, our last home opponents and well....half this league. Anyone who gets over that will have a shout at the play offs. Hopefully we have a late 80's style second half of the season surge. What's Archibald up to these days ???

tkturner Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Setting off for Ewood soon, 2 nil to us and a feel-good factor leaving the ground...
Audax Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 They don't have a manager still and they torched Donnie last week for 4 goals. Looks like they weren't doing that bad with Mowbray, we'll see. I don't ever want to be over optimistic.
Clitherover Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Not getting over optimistic either, did that last week against Charlton and that didn't turn out so well. Gutted I can't make the fixture especially at those prices.
Backroom Tom Posted November 2, 2013 Backroom Posted November 2, 2013 Need a good win here to get back on track and I think we'll get it 2-0 with Rhodes bagging both Any more mistakes from either and we have to consider dropping Kean and Kane Same team as last week but Best is inured so once again we have no strikers on the bench, this time unavoidable on the managers part
West Yorks Rover Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 We may need to score a few today if we are to win. Last 6 games form table Boro have 8 pts W 2 D 2 L 2 which is identical to Rovers. But they have goals F 14 A 10, we have F 7 A 6. Think we may have to hope one of their lot gets sent off ala Barnsley.
Audax Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Doncaster Rovers have a few games where they gave up a lot of goals so if 'Boro scored a lot, that is a weak point of Doncaster as well.
Backroom DE. Posted November 2, 2013 Backroom Posted November 2, 2013 Rovers: Kean, Kane, Dann, Kilgallon, Spurr, Cairney, Lowe, Williamson, King, Judge, Rhodes. Subs: Marshall, Eastwood, Songo'o, Taylor, Marrow, Morris, Henley
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Wow, looks like a better crowd, but team is uninspired, little creation, lot on Judges shoulders to fill in behind JR. Where's Best, left in the tunnel for being naughty?

Backroom Tom Posted November 2, 2013 Backroom Posted November 2, 2013 Keans first involvement is spilling the easiest cross in the history of the game He may be young but he's a bad goalkeeper
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Boro by far the more lively at present, absolutely teaming down, Cairney needs longer studs!
Backroom DE. Posted November 2, 2013 Backroom Posted November 2, 2013 Keans first involvement is spilling the easiest cross in the history of the game He may be young but he's a bad goalkeeper Great, I've been away for 2 weeks and Kean has somehow gotten worse.
thenodrog Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Keans first involvement is spilling the easiest cross in the history of the game He may be young but he's a bad goalkeeper His confidence is lacking. He really needs dropping for his own good.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Spurr off injured, looks like right ankle, Morris on
McClarky Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 1 shot in 20 minutes, thriller Get in Millwall
Paul Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Join the Push for Promotion is the advert on the big screen. No chance. We are terrible.
Clitherover Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 1 shot in 20 minutes, thriller Get in Millwall Please let this be the day their bubble finally bursts.
mattjansen Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Please let this be the day their bubble finally bursts. 1-0 Millwall :-)
Backroom Tom Posted November 2, 2013 Backroom Posted November 2, 2013 This is bad the tactics are all wrong and we look like an away side hoping to nick a point
Proudtobeblue&white Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Best chance of half to JR, fingertip save to keep out - good Rovers pressure
mattjansen Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 2-0 Millwall, good to smile when Shittu scores sometime :-)
