Guest Norbert Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 It's odd. I've not been able to comment or update my status on facebook today. I think it has something to do with putting a post on the announcement that Mark Zuckerberg has bought yet another tech company for billions. All I said was he seemed to want to take over the world, and we should call him Mom, as in her off Futurama.
Dreyski Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 In a busy pub/bar, groups of people (and it's usually groups) who order their drinks at the bar and then stand there with their drinks, seemingly oblivious to the people waiting to get served.
Guest Norbert Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Yeah, I'd agree with that. I'd personally move, as I wouldn't want to get in people's way. Standing at the bar during quieter times is OK, but at peak periods is annoying.
Baz Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 People who randomly stop in inconvenient places, like when they get to the top of the escalator, or in the middle of an aisle in a busy shop. People who randomly stop at roundabouts when clearly nothing is coming. People who drive slowly, then dramatically speed up when you attempt to overtake them. "Off of", "innit", people who textspeak e.g. "lol". "Celebrities" from "towie" or any other of those ilk of terrible tv programs.
T.J.Newton Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Whingers irritate me the most, 'Just shut up and get on with things or do something about whats bothering you instead of whinging & sulking at me'(is what I think when they start at it)
Backroom Mike E Posted March 28, 2014 Backroom Posted March 28, 2014 What about whingers that whinge AS they get on with it?
jim mk2 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 "Off of", "innit", people who textspeak e.g. "lol". "Celebrities" from "towie" or any other of those ilk of terrible tv programs. Agree about textspeak but spelling gaffes such as "programs" are just as bad
Rover95 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 People who don't undersatnd 'mini' roundabouts. I want to scream at them - 'its the same principle as a normal roundabout - give way to you right!!!'. Some people just sit there and then let others go or some people (a coach driver) just fly over them without stopping causing me to slam on. I also hate text speak even in text. Just type the message using normal words please. There's something unnerving when your 67 year old Dad says 'R U in' and 'c u then'.

Backroom Mike E Posted March 28, 2014 Backroom Posted March 28, 2014 Tbf, I can understand the value of saving space in an actual text. But otherwise I hate it. That being said I have unlimited texts so type properly anyway.
Baz Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Agree about textspeak but spelling gaffes such as "programs" are just as bad Touche!

cn174 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Emirates, Dubai airport and their @#/? @#/? @#/? customer service. Ditherers in cafes. You've been stood in a queue for 10 minutes, dont wait until you are at the front to decide what you want. People who get on a bus, then get their money out. Again, you've been waiting for half an hour, plenty time to get your money out.
gumboots Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Agree with you about dubai airport. No free wifi. Not very clean. Ended up there in the middle of the night both times flying to and from Korea. Huge duty frees and nothing much else
Jock Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Simon Rimmer on Something For The Weekend. Total bell and he's aptly named. Cant stand his grinning and smugness. Bangs on Liverpool constantly, a total bore.
Mike Graham Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Fat Russian women on the London tube who fart as if were a national sport. They stink.
Guest Norbert Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I can't say I have experienced that, but I guess they're a bit full of themselves now they have their nationalist pride restored by invasions and money laundering oligarchs.
ABBEY Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Anyone who uses the word stability should be shot !!!! I mean it too
