That's a bit much. Etuhu is the only like-for-like replacement for Williamson on the bench. 0-0 away from home in the first-half no need to get too adventurous in chasing the game and wanted to keep to the same style/tactics.

So are you better changing tactics slightly and keeping your best players on the pitch? Or stick to your tactics at all costs even if it means putting the worst player available on. When the substitution was made no-one on here thought it was a good idea. It wasnt. Another harsh lesson for Bowyer.

Not seen it so would be hypocritical to say too much

I can say this though, yes he is young but he is also a pretty poor keeper!

One of them days from a team that will have many of these and many good games over the season, we are mid table quality and show that week on week

Its frustrating when its so avoidable though

Same here time to be dropped though Eastwood is not the answer either.

Wonder were our super duper Jason Lowe is our so called midfield general.

Lowe only plays well if those around him also play well. Not the type of player to take a game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example, and never will be. Today playing beside Etuhu there was no chance of Lowe dictating anything.

Defensively we have been poor - but listening on the radio it isn't for lack of effort - and by the sounds of it we have bene the best team by far - excluding the Brighton keeper !

Any team can put effort in and that, frankly, is the least I would expect from a team at this level.

The problem is some players are far too inconsistent (Kane, Keane, Dann) and others can't finish for toffee (King being the biggest offender).

I read all the bull on the Rovers website about "let's make this the start of a promotion push" and "let's keep the great run of form going" and we go out today and get a thumping by a team that's supposedly not as good as we have been.

The scoreline doesn't lie.

Your pursuit of Lowe is not only boring but also distasteful.

Lowe only plays well if those around him also play well. Not the type of player to take a game by the scruff of the neck and lead by example, and never will be. Today playing beside Etuhu there was no chance of Lowe dictating anything.

Lowe couldnt dictate an under 16's game never mind a championship game.

Nothing scored but since Dunn came on he had three chances assisted by Rhodes, maybe Rhodes need someone to play with for us to really hit off. I cant blame Bowyer to much without Dunn and Ruben and Leon Best being Leon Best. The scary thing though is not being able to trust the keeper, my god do i miss Friedel
