Neal Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Not sure if this has been discussed at all on here but we've been linked with a move for Lukas Jutkiewicz on loan. Absolutely ruined us last season, don't understand whats happened here but surely the sort of centre forward we'd need as an alternative to Rhodes? http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/10799192._I_want_the_Boro_job_and_can_make_it_work__says_confident_Venus/

rovers11 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Good player at this level and only 24 so can get better. Would be a good addition. Hope the owners are patient with Bowyer as he's building a decent young team.
LDRover Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I think you should both read the boro fan's opinion on the boro match thread. It's pretty sobering.
rovers11 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I think you should both read the boro fan's opinion on the boro match thread. It's pretty sobering. He's talented. Think he could thrive in a different environment.

Going off what I've seen, he certainly has something. He had more shots at us in 20 mins than the rest of their whole team the other week.
LDRover Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The gist is that he's crap and there'd be no tears shed if he was to leave.
FGS5635 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Cant trust one fans view. You only have to read a thread on any rovers player on here to see what a massive range of views a fanbase can have on a single player
LDRover Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Maybe not but allied to the fact that he's a sub for a team that's below us makes me err on the boro fan's side. I hardly recall a huge reception from their fans for him when they brought him on against us either.
FGS5635 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Clearly he has issues or he wouldnt be coming to us. Who knows, plenty players change clubs and find success with new surroundings
FGS5635 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Straws.......clutch Hahaha what else have venkys left us?
Rover_Shaun Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 This is just a continuation of the summer of cast offs. It doesn't smack of any promotion ambition. Especially when its the only way to prevent eventual administration and the possible selling off of the clubs facilities.

Surely may as well be fined for having a right go and blasting it than just adding more dross to the dross we already have??? It gets more puzzling by the day at this place.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 He's talented. Think he could thrive in a different environment. You mean like Marshall has ?
Neal Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 You mean like Marshall has ? I can understand this view of him but it is still very early days in his Rovers career.

Errr who would u sign instead?another danny murphy??
Rover_Shaun Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 If I had a pound for every use of that phrase. Maybe Bowyer can only attract cast-offs? Who knows
Guest Norbert Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 It was a blow when he left Coventry for Boro, as he was a solid striker who worked hard for the Sky Blues, and was one of their better players at that time. He was mainly partnered or deputy for that charming chap Marlon King. However, he's not done much at Boro, and isn't what you would call a goal machine. So to sum it up, I'm not entirely sure he'd be better than Campbell or Best. It could work out, it might not.
The Rover of Finland Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I've seen him only once and it was also Kean's last match. Isn't he the type of striker we need alongside Rhodes?
Backroom Mike E Posted November 12, 2013 Backroom Posted November 12, 2013 If he's basically in the mold of Roberts or Kuqi, then get the bugger in ASAP! That's what I expected from Best :/

I doubt they will get double figures before they leave , I am not expecting them to vacate the premises til their contracts expire .... In short they are 2 total wasters !
FGS5635 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 TBH I'd just play king up top. He's plenty strong enought o hold it up and it decent enough in the air, plus has the obvious pace. Then start giving taylor a game down the left
