With Gary Bowyer openly stating he wants a new striker and seemingly undermining the 'abilities' of Leon Best, I thought It might be an idea to start a thread on who YOU would REALISTICALLY like to see the manager bring in up front.

I'll make a start... Given the funds, David Mcgoldrick at Ipswich I think would be a good signing, although that may be a difficult one to do.

realistically I want ronaldinho, but just in case he's not avaiable I'd be taking a look at hogan at rochdale.

Unless we can persuade someone to lend us someone without paying any wages I don't think we should be signing anyone. If someone comes in and buys Best and/or Campbell however that would be a different matter, ain't going to happen though is it.

We should be looking at shipping out Best, Campbell, Slew and Goodwillie and bringing in Billy McKay plus a loan.

Seeing as I have more cash in my wallet (£1.73) than we do in the Rovers kitty right now, I'd say any striker who is willing to pay his own transfer/loan fee and wages is all we will get.

Or in other words, no one.
