Looking forward to the match.

Cheering on the team after all the financial discussions will be a welcome relief.

I hope supporters who can attend do so. Those who may have been undecided about going and been reading this message board for the last couple of weeks may not think its worth bothering - but i hope they do.

With daft international breaks clustered together it seems like games are miles apart, so will be glad to get back to ewood for a game. 2 huge home games for us and the next 2 after that are tough away. Need 3 points sat and a performance to lift spirits again. Hopefully dunn and rochina are both in the squad. Rovers win 3-1 :)

After predicting us to win 3-1 at Brighton im going back to listening to head not heart. Think it will be a decent game this but with them being a good side and us average i think they'll shade it.

Rovers 2 Reading 3 (King, Rhodes)

13,473 ( 800 Reading)

Quite looking forward to this, I don't go to away games so I missed seeing the debacle at Brighton

I fancy us to put on a decent show and win 3-1 (Rhodes 2 and Dunn for us)

The main worry is are the defence steady enough? Do they trust the wobbly keeper enough yet?

Hoping tomorrow is the day Kean starts to turn it around with a string of confidence building saves

As Tom said, 'head not heart'...0-2 loss. Being optimistic, we should get 3 or 4 points out of our next two at home. Early red for Reading tomorrow, resulting in an unexpected easy victory, 3-1. Danny, Hanley and King with the goals. Le Fondre for Reading.

Rhodes is carrying a knock, but Bowyer has refused to say if Best will be considered due to his comments on instagram.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face comes to mind. His comments were not that bad, and I would consider it to be a mistake by Bowyer if he was left out over this. Yes Best isn't that good but we might need him.

Also, no booing if he does play please.

Makes a change for me not to be working on a weekend - so coming up for this one. Traveling over night from London tonight. (any decent cafe open about 7am in Blackburn town centre?) traveling back saturday night, getting home about lunchtime on sunday.

Oh aye, saying he's not in the team for reasons other than not being good enough - speaks volumes of what Best thinks the manager's integrity and judgement are like. Far from being that bad, I'd say that's a real undermining of the manager and there needs to be one winner there - Bowyer. If that means dropping him, so be it. One of the things we have going for us is our team spirit and togetherness, and planks like Best should not be allowed to disrupt that.

I like these match threads - no money talk or focus on past mistakes and impending doom. - I wrote this before the last post, spoke too soon.

I was unfortunate enough to be at brighton - it was awful. But back I am with pre-match optomism.

I would start with goal- kean defence - morris, dann, hanley, kane, midfield - lowe, cairney, taylor, king, marshall. Rhodes up front.

Fully agree. He should be disrespected by each and everyone of us just as he has done to us and our club. It's not just one misdemenour he has lots of previous. After what he did at Blackpool he should be made to train with the kids and never get near the first team again. The legacy of Kean lives on and will live on whilst he is here.

Wake up and smell the coffee, sorry the venkyturds

So every thread has to be negative? We can't just look forward to the match on this one thread? A lot of threads are ridden with misery - this one could be about the team, the tactics, predictions, those going to support and hoping for a rovers win.

Best typifies what's wrong with football and current society in general. An ignorant, arrogant, lazy, self opinionated, under achiever who thinks the world owes him a living. He also had the additional advantage of a leg up from others in high places. A really despicable individual.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's game and hoping for a well earned 3 points.

COYB!

I don't remember Best being a problem elsewhere, maybe the problem is the manager's inexperience...although there's not many quality players left at the club anymore to have an attitude....bowyer out!

If Best's your opinion of 'a quality player' then I guess time to jog on.
