Seven and a half hours from London - did you walk it?

Clearly it is your first visit for a while if you were 'shocked and saddened' by what you saw. If you hadn't noticed the club has had it's heart ripped out and we are left with a shell of what we had. And you know what, the fans are completely blameless and the innocent party. I honestly don't blame anybody who has stopped going and certainly wouldn't have a go at the fans for not 'singing their hearts out for the lads'. The realists have resigned themselves to many years of plundering the lower leagues for enough points for survival on an annual basis.

A couple of years ago Dunn told us to get real - sadly lots of us have.

Traveled by coach.

Not first visit for awhile. just decided to comment this time.

I wasn't actually blaming fans either. I just said it was sad this was the situation.

Of course the whole situation is down to Venkys. But the reality is we are where we are. It is not possible to turn the clock back - that is the reality of the situation.

The club has had to scrape a team together. Folk may think Bowyer is not up to the job - but there are no funds to replace him.

No funds to bring in better players.

So the only option available is support the manager the club has and the players on the field.

You miss the point Pafell as you are not in touch with real rovers fans...there's no connection anymore, the boards gone, JW, who was a real broker between the fans and the club, gone...decent players, gone....decent ish manager...gone....it's all gone Pafell, why don't you just go and watch Brighton and have a happy shiny time...eck you can now park on the hill coming down livesey branch road, the police obviously don't give a toss anymore either....

They could make a start by appointing someone with a bit more flair and imagination to manage the team....all of bowyer's signings have been dull as ditchwater, absolute dire. For me we have to look at replacing him prior to January when a clear out is needed and some creative loan signings need to come in...

MacLeish, Warnock, Sven, avram grant, mark McGee, lawrie Sanchez, Paul dickov.....these could all have a go and do better than this guy.

Only Venkys and Shebby Singh could come up with a worst list of managers than that.

Even if the club wanted to change the manager. How could they? There is no money to either sack or replace a manager. No money to replace players.

The dream and the glory days are finished - stolen is a better description by venkys.

But we are stuck with them.

This is what we have. But I would rather support the shell of a club than not support it at all.

Nope Blackburn is where I was born, therefore the club I support. You mentioned Brighton - I can go there anytime I want, I can get in for free and it is only an hour away from where I live. yes I go to some of their matches - but I do not support them. But a lot of their supporters are my customers. So had lots of conversations with many of them.

That club went through a horrendous bad patch - even having no ground of their own. The main comment I get from their supporters is, "we didn't give up, we always believed that things would improve". I suggest that is the attitude Rovers fans should have. If not, then may as well give up now. Not easy to do. But what other choice is there?

For crying out loud...a united reserve and he's the saviour...Evans, just another okay, but inexperienced lad who's never going to change the fortunes of this club.

Who rattled your cage???

After reading your list of managers....mghee,sancheZ?? You for real?? Just add bloody keane berg appleton to that list too

I'm 100% sure our fans will have the same attitude,

after the Venky's have left

Dilemma for the manager really. It seems to me if he plays two up the opposition overrun midfield-if he plays one up, the attack becomes powder puff. IMO he either needs to strengthen his midfield then he can confidently have two men playing off each other in attack or he needs a target man to hold while the pedestrian midfield moves beyond the front man. Tbe 15 points behind Burnley after 16 matches is a sad state of affairs-although their manager and two forwards are surely going to attract attention from lower Prem clubs soon.

i wonder if the tension between club and Best is having an effect on the squad. Faster he is gone the better imo.

Just throwing a few names in..my choice would be warnock but I guess many on here would disagree.

Out of your list he's the only one worth a punt. I detest the guy BUT he can get blood out of a stone similar to Sam and can get teams up. He's also worked for a few bonkers owners. Was very unpopular at Leeds though.

Pretty fair but naturally leaning towards the kind side

We were on top in the first half and he points to their change of tactic being a compliment to us, the flip side is that his inability to shuffle our own team contributed to us being utterly limp after the break

Why does rovers11 try to back the owners. They show no interest in listening to advice from supporters or even coming to matches. OUR club will never be the same until they are gone.

Whilst everyone can have opinions about different players, the most telling thing to me yesterday was that when the club are trying to sell half season tickets using the slogan " Join the promotion push" the performance lacked any passion and the constant slow release of the ball from Kean showed a complete lack of ambition.

Not backing the owners in any way, shape or form. They are clueless, that can't be denied. However, I don't think it's down to lack of ambition (they have pumped fortunes into the club) but purely down to being clueless. The fact that they are still clueless after 3 years means they will never learn or ever have an idea of how to run a football club.

I agree with you about not listening to fans` advice or anyone else's advice. They simply don't have a clue who to trust. There's no doubt that they need to go, that's beyond debate.
