Stuart Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Well on top at the moment. We need to score or await the sucker punch. Oh, to have Dunny fit for more than half a dozen games a season.

Backroom Tom Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 As good as Dunn is he suffers from the same thing that Rochina and king do 'I've just done something really good I better keep hold of it longer now instead of passing it' Still a clear class above
Backroom Tom Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 Does Bowyer have the nouse to break down stubborn teams? We haven't seen that so far this season Half an hour and loads of options to do so
moerpho Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Got that feeling we'll lose this now.....sounds like Reading are getting closer. We really need to win these games at home.
Amo Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Who's playing in Dunn's role now? I hope it isn't Cairney.

mattjansen Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Why put Ruben as a sub if he is not ready to take part, if he is then its bad from GB not to change dunn for him.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 23, 2013 Moderation Lead Posted November 23, 2013 F***ing attack!!!
Backroom Tom Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 Does Bowyer have the nouse to break down stubborn teams? We haven't seen that so far this season Half an hour and loads of options to do so No
pick32 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 0-0 we really need to make our chances and dominance count. Easily the better team today.
Backroom DE. Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 Another point gained in our quest for promotion. The freebie/loan experiment charges on unabated.
Amo Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Disappointing do. Sounds like Reading were there for the taking but we ran out of ideas in the final third. Some dubious looking substitutions by Bowyer in his attempt to change the game, too.
Backroom Tom Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 Typing as I walk home Kean - nothing wrong, quiet day, decided to see out time rather than launch a free kick Kane - poor in possession but ok Dann and Hanley - both fine and rarely troubled Spurr - sloppy but good throws Lowe and Williamson - both ok enough Cairney - ineffective King - some great runs but shocking final ball Dunn - only bright spark looked dangerous Rhodes - poor, bad passing and wasteful a couple of times at the line Taylor - didn't notice him Rochina - should have wore boots not ice skates Bowyer - decent enough line ups but showed little ambition and too late to change when they did probably costing us two points Meh
Rover_Shaun Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Does Bowyer have the nouse to break down stubborn teams? We haven't seen that so far this season Does Bowyer have the nouse and squad to do it? A resounding no on the latter which also contributes to a default no on the former
EWOODACE1 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 we will not create enough whilst lowe and williamson are our 2 central mids and we play our best centre mid on the right. cairney is an excellant mid and reminds me a bit of carrick but is completely wasted on the right. we only need 1 of williamson and lowe and it baffles me why both are played especially at home king is infuriating. seems clueless when he actually gets into a good position but does well to get there the game was crying out for a change and the least obvious choice was chris taylor
tomphil Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Fully expected us to get beat today although i did think it would be a decent game. I suppose that 2nd half is going to be the order of the day in a season of consolidation. A don't lose mentality. Reading seemed happy with that as well but if it comes the order of the day against every team then i'll spit the dummy.
den Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Bowyer - decent enough line ups but showed little ambition and too late to change when they did probably costing us two points I'm afraid his appointment showed little ambition.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Poor result..we are a mediocre mishmash of a side.
LDRover Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The transition is now complete. We are a team of lower league plodders.
tomphil Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I'm afraid his appointment showed little ambition. He's done a steady job and is a safe pair of hands in the Parkes mold.. If they are only going to try and see the season out then go in admin or whatever then there is no one better for the job. The question is he or can he get the best out of this squad ? Answer is no.
Backroom DE. Posted November 23, 2013 Backroom Posted November 23, 2013 What is the best that can be gotten out of a team largely cobbled together from free transfers and loans? Worth remembering this was Dunn's first game back in a while, Rhodes was likely not 100% fit and we still have Rochina and eventually Evans to come back. We'll finish around mid table this year and that's about right with the managerial staff and squad taken into account.
West Yorks Rover Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Poor result..we are a mediocre mishmash of a side. Lack of ambition all round including Shaw and Bowyer, who seem to be happy with the status quo. Well at least Weds and Barnsley lost, that keeps us 8 pts off relegation.
