In the 70s and 80s we all pulled together , Chairman , Manager and fans ..

We now have owners who just do not give a flying , haven;t had a manager for 3 years ,,,Is it any wonder the fans feel like we do ?

Why are there 100 guests viewing the messageboard ??

Yes, we certainly pulled together. Even in the dark winter of '71, bottom three of Div 3, there was still a sense of fighting for the same cause.

Today I felt nothing..I know it is the realisation of how far we have been brought by these s***t owners. Anyway, I won't accept having my expectations so dumbed down.

If I had only 3 bullets in my gun, what choices would I make, I wonder??....oh so very hypothetically, of course, like Jose!

When is somebody in authority at the club _and it probably needs to be Bowyer- gonna stop flannelling about with '' the positives'' and actually come out with the blindingly obvious to anybody ie ''our results are simply not good enough and frankly we are a middle table team and no more. We are paying for the mistakes of the last 3 years and if we think we are going up this year then we are as deluded as our owners''.

I might actually respect the first person to stand up and be counted from within.

It was like playing in a library and game by game the fans are being drained of the last remaining drops of spirit.

''I would have taken a point before the game'' says Rovers 11; in the name of god get feckin real. How can you settle for a draw at home when we are as soft as sh1te away?? The whole club is just still kidding itself.

Decent result....sorry but could not disagree more. A laughing stock result.....again.

Couldn't agree more preston blue. Two goals scored by the Rovers in the past 450 minutes of football at Ewood Park whilst eight away games this season have brought six points from the 24 available. Fortunately, it would appear that those in the marketing department at Ewood have not lost their sense of humour with the "Join the Push for Promotion!" slogan for selling half season tickets. Tongues firmly in cheek I think down at Ewood.

I would say relegation is more likely than promotion on the results so far this season. We can't beat the teams above us and the ones around or below us we get mixed results from. The squad has its problems and weaknesses but it also does have some strengths, is Bowyer getting more out of this team than anyone else could? I don't think so.

With some tough fixtures ahead and the usual hectic Christmas period who knows how far we might plummet down the table by then.

The time is right to move bowyer aside and bring in a experienced man manager who might be able to get a bit done in January and perhaps get us looking up....why leave it till 10 minutes to the end to bring Rochina on? When he got on the ball just rushing, too much onus on him for too short a time....if he's fit, give him a good half hour at least. That ginger geezer is just poor and how he got on well before Rochina is a puzzle.

We really don't seem to be able to adjust our game when plan A hasn't worked. First half seemed to be get Dunn involved and it worked, we created gaps and Cairney really should have buried the chance when he had the whole goal to aim at and ended up passing it to McCarthy in goal.

Second half Reading put a strangle on Dunn and cut him out of the game, our tactic then appeared to be play long balls up to King on his head on the wing ... It didn't work! Had they been given the penalty they deserved our positive first half would have been forgotten as we would have got nothing!

As a few have said, you can't be happy with draws at home when you simply do not turn up to away games.

The one game I have come to this season was when 1 of the 2 goals you mentioned was scored.

I might have to buy a half season ticket.

I've never believed that the present squad is good enough for promotion regardless of who was manager. Personally, I believe Gary has done as well as can be expected given the circumstances. He has to cut the wage bill, he can only bring in freebies and loans and yet is expected to keep the club competitive. The problem rests solely with owners who arrived completely clueless and remain so three years later. No top manager would work for these clowns under the conditions that Gary is having to operate. Hopefully, they will give him time. The bottom line is a mid table finish is a result under the circumstances. It's the owners who got us in this mess in the first place by sacking Sam and forcing John Williams and so many other good people out of the club.

We need you 92er, we need you!!!

It is funny how the manager can't see what's blindingly obvious, but then this seems to happen with every manager at some stage or another. Somehow, we fans (even the ones who don't attend ;)) always know best. Wasn't Cairney's first game as right-winger away at Bournemouth (where we won 3-1)? I can't remember if we won that game because Cairney was on the wing or in spite of it.

Cairney had a good game on the right that day, but Corry Evans was man of the match he ran the game from the start until he went of by driving us forward. That's why I think Cairney needs to move inside until Evans is fit as he can do that where as Lowe and Williamson are to pedestrian one of them is alright but at home particularly the two are not needed. I would like to see Lowe drop out Cairney move inside and Taylor start on the right.

I was surprised how bad Reading were. They even brought on, Rovers reject, Nick Blackman at one point!

Let's not forget they shipped 5 at Wednesday in their last away game, Weds were beaten easily today at home by Hudds by all accounts.

Just shows how poor we have become and let's no forget, Charlton had'nt won away for ages until they played us.

It was a clear penalty from the Blackburn end - it was baffling when be brought out the yellow

A few pints of kingfisher later a draw still looks a bad result against a decent enough team on paper that were there for the taking; it's just annoying that we get obvious things wrong, Cairney isn't a winger and why Taylor before Ruben?

We have the makings of a decent side but things don't click like they should be

I see Rochina is being hailed as the saviour again. Baffles me.

Seemed like the same old same old to me : decent dribbler but like King, has no idea about getting his head up and passing. Then a couple of times was so intent trying to get the ball onto his left foot to get a shot away he fell over leading to the opposition breaking.

We're nowhere near good enough for promotion and Rochina won't make any difference to that.

.

According to Radio Lancs his losing the ball nearly led to a Reading goal.
