You say Newcastle (Premier League) I say Rovers (Championship )

Doesn't change the fact that Ashley has made some downright ludicrous decisions since taking over Newcastle. A revolving door of bad managers, the 'Cockney Mafia', renaming the stadium cash-grab, Pardew's 8 year contract, and the list could go on. He's learned a few lessons but that still hasn't stopped him doing crazy **** like bringing back Joke Innear as DoF. And this is a guy born and raised in this country who presumably has some idea about English football.

He managed Big Sam who was a good manager. Hughton did a decent job. Shearer was a stupid choice but it was always going to happen. And Pardew is a million miles better than any manager that Venkys have employed.

They were a Championship club at one point. A few years later they were playing in a European quarter final.

but cashley stumped up the readies to get Newcastle back to the prem once relegated and succeeded.

Venky's stumped up £15m last season, regardless of how well it was spent. Also, with Shagnew whispering in one ear, and Shebby in the other, it's no wonder we've had one craptacular manager after another.

Newcastle's promotion was more by accident than by design. Hughton was only in charge on a caretaker basis until his good form earned him the job full-time. Here's hoping Bowyer can have the same effect.

They still make caskley look tempting. he got 35m for a lump, we got chump change for a diamond. he at least surrounds himself with fools ours surround themselves with 'crooks' to quote steve kean. hughton was akin to mcdonald venkys took stupidity a step further like cashley giving it to bunn. they are the calamity james of the football world, if deviousness is set aside.

Ashley is an idiot, no doubt, but he doesn't even come remotely close to Venky's in the stupidity stakes. It's difficult to see how anybody could replicate the kind of idiocy the Raos have inflicted upon us for the last three long, long years.

Games were fixed in the old days of the minimum wage and also for a couple of decades later. The results where a relegation threatened team would win away at a safe mid table team happened a bit too often. There's plenty of anecdotal evidence of little groups of players being got at before and even during the game in those days. I reckon in the days before subs you'd only need about three players to have an " off day " to lose a game.

The club in question is Whitehawk FC

Home of superstar Edino Junior although he isn't involved

One of Singh's signing wasn't he? And isn't his agent the son of an ex Malaysian national team manager? And isn't Malaysia the country where betting syndicates and match fixing are rife? Some unanswered questions but there is no smoke without fire.

Whitehawk bombed him out after a few weeks as he couldn't get in their team. He's been back at Ewood for the past few months making the odd appearance for the Under-21's but, like Paulo Jorge, he's not even a regular at that level.

That is embarrassing. What makes it worse is that we're probably paying him more per week that the rest of the whitehawk squad put together earn in the whole season.

possible match-fixing by a player in the Championship now under investigation. Who'd have thunk it...

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/08/police-investigation-football-match-fixing

Football League chief executive Shaun Harvey encouraged anyone with any evidence to report it to the police.

Mr Harvey added: "We treat any allegations of criminal activity in our competitions with the utmost seriousness.

"We will be giving our full assistance to the police during their investigation."

try looking at videos of some of the games when coco was in charge

You're gonna have to back it up with more than that, because it's not just Kean you're implicating.

coco ruined a few potentially good players with his tactics and has now had to leave the country to get a gig

lots of smoke and mirrors in the game now and don't forget the legal threats
