Wtf are you talking about! Your using an incident where people have lost theor lives just so you can vindictively get one up on another forum member, Your not happy unless your givong somebody on here stick for some imaginary bs youve invented in your hate filled mind or other.

From what ive heard on the news the pilot was german, most likely he just went loopy and decided crashing the plane would be a good idea, not all disasters have to be terrorist related.

Bit harsh, no? Couldn't you just put him on ignore? (Assuming the function is working, apologies if not).

I have a feeling that very soon they will discover that the pilot who crashed the plane had recently converted to radical islam.

Betcha.

Not being racist or phobic; just a hunch.

"Discover" being the operative word.

There are no telltale signs of him having any connection to Islam. No calls of "Allahu Akbar" on the recording either, which is common in these types of scenarios.

The whole scenario is very, very weird. The slow descent, the absolute silence, a normal breathing pattern right until the end... it's almost like the guy was in some kind of trance.

Sorry it may be harsh but you have to admit its true, but then I aint exactly an innocent on here I suppose.

Im not sure about the ignore function, I had to create (another;) )a new acount after the site went down and I havent bothered even attemting to put anybody on ignore.

You would think if his motive was in anyway political he would have taken the opportunity to say something as the plane went down, knowing full well the black box would record it.

No I have the feeling this was a very troubled individual with a history of mental illness that has somehow fallen through the cracks. There must be a trigger- something that has set him off.

Most suicides are difficult to predict and comprehend IF this turns out to be a deliberate act by the co pilot. Who knows if this bloke's wife/kids have left him / become diagnosed with a terminal illness? Maybe he's been caught with another woman / stealing money? All sorts can push one to the limit although why take a planeload of people and many children with him I've no idea.

Here's a (very) wild card to connect with the terrorism theory... hypnosis?

Hopefully an investigation will uncover a motive. If they can find absolutely no reason for it then that will be very scary.

His name apparently is out, I won't repeat it yet. Can one imagine if a family member did this??

And yes, often cockpits will have a combination lock. It makes me wonder, what are we going to see in the future? 3 co-pilots? Some sort of safeguard.

Unconfirmed, I heard someone say there was a 6 month break in his flight training.

If this turns out that the co-pilot is someone suffering from mental health issues / instability then it is truly criminal that he's been allowed on to be in control of what is essentially a missile. In this case, if his friends, family or colleagues have had any suspicion of these issues and have not spoken up they should be distraught with themselves. If this is spoken of as suicide, it is the single most selfish act I can remember for a long, long time. This is not suicide, it is murder.

All signs so far suggest he appeared completely normal. Obviously things may be revealed going forward that change that view... but it may just be that he was able to hide his mental illness/depression extremely well.

Security measures can be talked about all day long, but the fact is, if a pilot wants to crash a plane... he/she will crash it. No amount of security in the world can stop that from happening once the pilots are in the cockpit. Measures have to be taken before the plane is in the air, not afterwards. As for what those measures are... I don't know.

so would you prefer to die or pay at bit more?:wacko::huh:

your such an over the top drama queen,

this was an isolated incident that probably could have been prevented simply by having stricter mental health checks on pilots.

Not if O'Leary only pays them half as much.

wouldn't surprise me.
