Mike Graham Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Anyone want to guess the numbers of Rovers fans and City fans for this game? Rovers: 6K City: 15K
tomphil Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 We got about 1/4 of that for a qf last year didn't we. Can't remember how many. About 8.5 v Millwall inc 500 of them and it was bloody freezing. As for the FA cup early rounds just after Christmas i think most fans these days don't give a kean about it never mind the oppo. Loads of footy in a short space of time, low mood and most skint. There will be plenty of dire crowds around the country this wknd there always is. As for City it gives a few of their fans a chance to get to a close away match that maybe a lot of them don't get week in week out, plus the thousands of recently found glory boys of course.
Amo Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 With only three days before our cup game with high-rollers Man. City, I'd be tempted to field a semi-competitive side. For what is essentially a playoff or bust situation, we cannot do with the distracting "magic" of the FA Cup, but we don't want a complete mauling. How about something along the lines of...
Rover_Shaun Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Anyone else expect this to be a reuniting of the undynamic due in midfield?
FGS5635 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 May as well play a strong side. No point resting anyone with a week until the following game. Maybe give killgalon and rochina 90mins. Hopefully evans can make the bench and get some mins I guess a good game to start robbo maybe
Stuart Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I thought I was being a misery guts wanting an end to replays but, good grief, Lambert all but wants the competition scrapping. Hope his teams lose every FA cup tie they ever play. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/25579811
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 2, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 2, 2014 Lambert you bell end.
FGS5635 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Sounds like he is going to forfeit a cup game. What kind of stoopid kean would do such a thing
Stuart Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Bumley got it back to 2-2 but Bumley-lad Rodriguez put Southampton back in front and Lallana has made it 4. I guess that's them concentrating on the league.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 4, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 4, 2014 Looks like Lambert is getting exactly what he deserved- Sheffield United just went 2-1 up.
perthblue02 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just watched Rochdale v Leeds, well deserved win for Rochdale some decent young players there mixed in with old heads, Not sure about Keith Hills country lord of the manor dress sense though.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just watched Rochdale v Leeds, well deserved win for Rochdale some decent young players there mixed in with old heads, Not sure about Keith Hills country lord of the manor dress sense though. How did the young lad we've got on loan there do ?
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 4, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 4, 2014 Think there's some talk about him in the Jack O'Connell thread. The 'dale fan seems happy with him!
McClarky Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Brilliant that Lambert and Villa got beat. Maybe when he's on the dole in a few weeks he might think the cup is quite important after all.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 4, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 4, 2014 Villa fans not happy with Lambert at all. Reckon he could be for the chop soon.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 4, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 4, 2014 Quite. I don't think he'll have much sympathy in East Anglia either.
longsiders1882 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Aye we are definitely focusing in the league now. 'Twas a valiant effort but in truth their quality told. Not overly disappointed with an early exit, but then again a decent cup run is always enjoyable.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Yeah go out with bang and then concentrate on the league. I thought we'd be doing the same but we live to fight another day.
Salgado Is A Hero Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Did Super Jay celebrate? I hope he did.
chaddyrovers Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 here are what Leeds fans thought of their performance at Rochdale today http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=who6LvvaqFY&feature=youtu.be
longsiders1882 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 No jay didn't celebrate. He's a class act and behaved like one.
