Backroom DE. Posted December 21, 2013 Backroom Posted December 21, 2013 Jake could also make cracking saves, though. What I like about Eastwood is that his distribution is more powerful and assured, and he seems confident in himself. It's far more than I expected. Of course worth noting, distribution aside, Jake started out that way too when he first came into the team...

Mike Graham Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Well done Rovers, a good well fought for victory today and may we have many more. Also tinged with sadness and in memory of my sadly departed Yeovil mad supporter mate Yanko Krasmanovic who was with them from non league days. RIP.....another good one lost far too soon.
USABlue Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Wish you had'nt said that ! You know what will happen now. I don't rate the fella either but has to be said he's scored 29 in 64 league games for Brum, but only 4 this Season. Anyone else sense a hat trick coming now.
Waggy76 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Good win, let us go on a run , like derby have..

Bucksrover Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I see Rochina replaced Dunn around about the hour mark, How/what did he do?In my opinion not very well. He is a luxury player - a couple of nice touches but very lightweight on the ball, not quick or hard working. We didn't hold the ball up as well when he came on for Dunn. Gestede on earlier would have been better. Williamson was also a poor sub - too slow. As with Dunn for rochina, Taylor off for Williamson made us weaker. Gestede was the only substitution that helped

neophox Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Nice to see Rochina back. I Think we may need his creativity on thursday as I reckon Sheff W will try to make it tight.... Nice comments from his Twitter.

Gestede was the only substitution that helped Rochina has always been a lux player and will not be fully match fit, glad he is back though as he is on his game our most unique player... and well we need a miracle this season, if he has half a brain a fully fit rochina could get himself a nice transfer and us a much better league position.
Gav Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Good win today, made up for the fans that travelled down, lets back this win up with another one against Wednesday. Happy Christmas to you all
LDRover Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I've been up and down in regards to Rovers more than I've ever been this season. Obviously on an 'up' at the minute but it is absolutely vital that we get a 3rd win on the trot next Thursday. Win that and who knows ?
jim mk2 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Long way down to Somerset in December so well done to all those who went and sounds as if they were rewarded with an excellent performance. Disappointing to see after our little run we are still only 11th. We need to keep this momentum going now.

I suppose its better than the Down, down, further down,......when & where will this end, of the previous 2 seasons, at least where now slowly moving in the right direction(for now anyway ) and we have a team that is starting to resemble and play like a 'Rovers Team'

Disappointing to see after our little run we are still only 11th. We need to keep this momentum going now. Still only 4 points off the playoffs though Jim. The table is pretty tight around our area at the moment, not much at all between 5th - 11th. A win against Sheff Weds could move us up 3 or 4 places.
Backroom Tom Posted December 22, 2013 Backroom Posted December 22, 2013 Another lovely finish by Rhodes but what the hell is Ruben doing a Rabona for? Good effort but someone tell him he has a right foot
Neal Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 That Rabona was unreal. It was flying in to be fair, you pay money to see that sort of stuff... Fair play I say.
roversfan99 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 It had absolutely no power on it whatsoever and was an easy save.

Brfcrule1 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Totally agree Tom was a superb finish from the boy wonder to settle it. Tom will you be at the Brum game on the 29th would be good to catch up.
yoda's brother Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 if you watched the football league show, you would have thought we only had a couple of chances and yeovil were all over us, typical.
thenodrog Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 It had absolutely no power on it whatsoever and was an easy save. Quite right ....... Now you go outside and try it.
Leonard Venkhater Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 if you watched the football league show, you would have thought we only had a couple of chances and yeovil were all over us, typical. OMG! Just watched it. No reflection at all of our first half dominance. Makes it look like Rovers robbery. Screw the BBC!
arbitro Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 It had absolutely no power on it whatsoever and was an easy save. It was incredible that he should try a difficult skill like that by shooting from outside the penalty area. In a way it kind of sums him up as a footballer. And if anybody doesn't think it is hard to do they should ask David Dunn who made a fool of himself rying the same thing whilst at Birmingham.
Stuart Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 OMG! Just watched it. No reflection at all of our first half dominance. Makes it look like Rovers robbery. Screw the BBC! The Beeb love minnows. Soak in the three points and laugh it off.
dubdubdub Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 if you watched the football league show, you would have thought we only had a couple of chances and yeovil were all over us, typical. I'm going to email the BBC. Poor journalism.
