Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Sorry, ads for the blues, but cooked Christmas dinner, few wines, wanted to start to discuss tomorrows game.....Telly sh*te since Eric passed, as long as Dunny hasn't drunk as much as me, I am optimistic. Same starting 11 as Sat? Really want us to push on, Rhodes to score at least two!

Majiball Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Same starting 11 is the right way to go provided they are all fit. I'll be predicting a draw again maybe a defeat as it's served me well the last two matches.
tomphil Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Rovers 2 - 2 Sheff Weds 18,376 (4,500 Wendies)
chaddyrovers Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Same team apart from Rochina in for Dunn and King for Taylor. going for 3 nil win. Rhodes with 2 and Hanley with the other.
Gav Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Rovers have to win this one, Wednesday are in turmoil at the moment losing at home to Bournemouth last time out. Rover 2 Wednesday 0
Mike Graham Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Hope it goes ahead. Heavy fog forecast.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 25, 2013 Author Posted December 25, 2013 Hope it goes ahead. Heavy fog forecast. Can only improve our game!
m1st Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Rovers have to win this one, Wednesday are in turmoil at the moment losing at home to Bournemouth last time out. Rover 2 Wednesday 0 Plus I'm sure as I can be that their interim Manager has never been impressive wherever he's taken over as caretaker. Here's one for those who go to the bookies: If Charlton win at lunchtime; Doncaster & we both win in 3.00 kick-offs and QPR beat Forest by 5 goals in the 7.30 kick-off, we'll be up to 7th! What odds on that?
arbitro Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I think Wednesday will be similar to Millwall in that they are a big, physical side who generally tend to be 'ugly' and can use spoiling tactics. That said the conditions won't be as much as a leveller so I expect us to keep the winning run going.
Bucksrover Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Just about to set off for blackburn. I say it every time but hoping for cairney centre mid rather than williams. Same team as saturday would do me. With king and gestede coming on with a decent amount of time to make an impact
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 I hope it's not as quiet as this at the game!
JAL Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Lets see a few more names on the score sheet for Rovers instead of relying on one player. At this stage Rovers cant afford to miss making home advantage count today no matter how determined and dogged Wednesday maybe.
Ossydave Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Does anyone know what time the ticket office is open till before the game? Right up till KO?
Majiball Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 when did we last win 3 on the bounce? we need to start getting decent runs together
Proudtobeblue&white Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 Does anyone know what time the ticket office is open till before the game? Right up till KO? Aye, 3pm - call centre, so presume it's the same for ticket office
Stuart Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Dec 2007 / Jan2008, Maj. I posted the three games on a thread somewhere. Sparky's time, so we are well overdue.
Majiball Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 We haven't won 3 on the bounce since I moved up north? Time to call the estate agent.
onlyonejackwalker Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Come on Rovers!!! Can't help feeling this is a very big game if we are serious about pushing for the play offs and beyond. We have a little momentum and must build on it, especially at home. Rovers 2-1. Lowe and Dann
Backroom Tom Posted December 26, 2013 Backroom Posted December 26, 2013 Not going today but I think it will be comfortable 2-0 one in each half for Rhodes
Majiball Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I see it took 2 minutes for Gally's call for belief to be answered lets hope they do so on the pitch today.
FGS5635 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Blackburn Rovers @OneRovers 1m ROVERS: Eastwood, Henley, Dann, Hanley, Spurr, Taylor, Lowe, Cairney, Marshall, Gestede, Rhodes. Hmmmmmmmmm Change of system and team. Seem a strange one
SoldierMo Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 So now dat probably dunn out for a few weeks with a slight knock
incy wincy little spider Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 3-1 win.Rhodes Hanley and Gestede from a set piece .
G Somerset Rover Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 We should have played Rochina in for Dunn today. We always play better with the 4-4-1-1 formation.
