thanks Mani for this post.

What is decent money for Dann??? 3.5 mil roughly?

Also any idea who Bowyer would sign as Dann replacement?

With Rhodes asking price around 10-12 mil and thats what I thought the price would be.

Also heard that Rovers have scouting Wells from Bradford for past 6 months. Is this true? A likely replacement for Rhodes if he does go if we dont stay up.

I also said that I dont expect FFP to come in next season for ages now.

Hiya pal...the short answer is I don't know. The info above is exactly as it was said to me.

In terms of Robbo just because he appears slim doesn't mean he's hitting the necessary weight to play football. In fact if one of you saw him this week then he may already have lost some.

I think £3-£3.5m is fair...and I'm not sure they would replace him with Kilgalllon, songo and the other youngsters there. Lucas Neill for 3 months playing to go to the World Cup? For the right wages I'd look at that maybe..

I do believe that they would spend to replace Rhodes but I genuinely don't think he'll be sold this window.

There is still a genuine push to get rid of the over paid bell ends and it can't come soon enough.

Very rude if you ask me, the boy should be holding his tongue back not disrespecting the manager like this.

Agree. Added to the fact he's been crap! Always involved but producing nothing. And to spout off like this does not show the attitude needed. Should get in trouble for these comments. Not that it's on Best's level but it shows a horrible lack of self awareness, as well as blaming others rather than trying to rectify things himself. No big loss if he goes on loan.

What's he actually said that disrepects the manager? Nothing I can see. Mentioning that he found himself out of the manager's plans and wants to go on loan to get playing and prove he has something to give? Yeah, what an arse....

If Robbo is 2 and half stone overweight, how on earth can he have been picked for the man city game?

That's alot of extra weight to be carrying for a sportsman.

Because even overweight he's better than our two third choice keepers. Did well today.

Test him out? Fitness tests can be done in training or in friendlies.

I just cant believe we would be playing him in competitive games if he is so overweight as the rumour suggests. Which is why i don't believe it.

Imagine if city had turned up and Robbo was just being tested. Could have been embarrassing.

Good grief man, you know what I mean. To give him a game without putting pressure on him. Not empirically testing him.

He was deemed fit and played. That's all she wrote.

As usual with Man's posts claiming to have inside knowledge I find them extremely attention seeking and no more credible than his claims earlier in the season that Rhodes wasn't putting it in in training.

No way was Robinson 2.5 stone overweight today. If he was he wouldn't have been selected anyway and he looked a lot sharper than I expected after such a long lay off.

very unfair to Mani that RevidgeBlue. nobody needs to attention seek at here.

Think his Robinson was 2.5 stone overweight when he return to training after injury. not now. think that's Mani was on about there. I'm sure he will clarify when next on Messageboard

Neither do I believe much else of what he posted Chaddy, if I had a source of genuine inside info I'm sure he wouldn't expect me to promptly go plastering it all over an internet messageboard, and would expect me to maintain a certain degree of confidentiality.

Rhodes can allegedly leave for 10-12m but the Club don't want or expect any bids? Well the best way to ensure a bid is to leak it to someone who will run straight on to a m/b and announce that he is in fact available and what we would accept.

Don't believe a word of it.

Now here I'm with you. I said a couple of weeks ago that Robinson, when on Q of S, didnot look as big as he did when he last played for us, bearing in mind that TV makes you look bigger than you actually are. Besides weight is not usually the issue. It's fat and bmi or whatever the latest indicator is, that counts. Look at someone like paddy Kenney who has always looked big but has played for years for different managers.

What Mani posted was hardly ground breaking and imo very accurate.

It's common knowledge that if we get an offer we can refuse for Rhodes then we'll sell him - £10m-£12m won't be far off what we're looking for. If we get a decent bid for Dann then he'll go as we need to get him off the wage bill, £4m will prob get him.

As for FFP, I could quite believe Mani`s claim that it won't go ahead next year. It adversely affects too many clubs in the championship for it not to be challenged. The new football league chairman wasn't even sure whether it would go ahead and said it's something championship clubs will have to decide on.

I'd be surprised and disappointed if Rhodes were allowed to leave for less than 15m and bear in mind that if he does leave for substantially more than the 10-12m quoted, Mani is obviously making it up as he goes along. Similarly I don't believe we're in any particular hurry to offload Dann. Whether or not the player himself is happy here I couldn't say.

As for the claims on our views on FFP, not sure why anyone would be sharing them with Mani given that he has in the past repeated similar sensitive alleged info on the m/b. Shaw certainly hasn't indicated the Club's official position is that we don't believe FFP will come in quite the opposite in fact. It's also an extremely risky position to assume it won't, someone has to have the bottle to break ranks and challenge it, then the challenge has to be successful.
