rovers11 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 No DJ in the squad maybe the Millwall interest is real Him, best and Goodwillie all look like leaving before the end of Jan. What a result that would be. Add the overrated Rochina to the departure list and add 1 or 2 to replace them and that would be very good window.
chaddyrovers Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 No Ruben Rochina in the #rovers squad ahead of a proposed loan move to Rayo Vallecano http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/10947225._/ …
Oklahoma Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Songo'o loaned to Ross County http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/songoo-heads-to-scotland-1301120.aspx?
The Rover of Finland Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Songo'o loaned to Ross County http://www.rovers.co.uk/news/article/songoo-heads-to-scotland-1301120.aspx? There goes one more Dann back ups.
SoldierMo Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Apparently dj not very well liked at brokhall at all

Ricky Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Wonder why we signed songo. We scouted him and he played a few games so surely we must have known what level he would be at before we signed him.
RevidgeBlue Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 When he was on trial I understand Songo really impressed Ricky. Grant Hanley thought he was a good player as well. Not sure what's happened there at all.
Majiball Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 When he was on trial I understand Songo really impressed Ricky. Grant Hanley thought he was a good player as well. Not sure what's happened there at all. but he was shocking in the matches I saw.
Oklahoma Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Wonder why we signed songo. We scouted him and he played a few games so surely we must have known what level he would be at before we signed him. He is playing in Ross County first team today. Slew is there too. Maybe the idea is to give him some games...
Majiball Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 He is playing in Ross County first team today. Slew is there too. Maybe the idea is to give him some games... Those two couldn't play enough games in two lifetimes to be good enough for our first team
rovers11 Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Could see quite a lot of activity this week. Songoo has already gone, rochina and Orr to follow soon. DJ likely to be on the move this week as well. Best and Goodwillie will more than likely leave before the end of the window as well. Marrow (who scored today) and Judge have already gone. That leaves us with just Rhodes (hopefully!), Gestede and the injury prone Dunn as striking options. Have to sign another striker and winger. Maybe a versatile defender as well who can play cb and lb.
Dunnfc Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Those two couldn't play enough games in two lifetimes to be good enough for our first team Slew their MOTM apparently whilst Songo'o had a storming game. I think Songo'o could be a player, hes just amazingly raw but could be down too where he's come from he has all the assets such as height, speed and strength what we lack. Id like to lose: DJ Campbell, Goodie, Best and replace with Sam Baldock Would love to see a move for MK DONS Ben Reeves was at Southampton as a youngster but was originally a left back behind the wonderful Luke Shaw, been in midfield this season for the dons and has been brilliant, great attacking threat and his contract is up in the summer and hes just turned 22 never going to cost big bucks but hes someone we should be looking at. Happy Staggie!Slew was my man of the match, he put in some shift! What a treat to see someone take in the ball, turn, and then have the skill and power to beat his opponent and go past him. He was all over the pitch. Good stuff - I Like Songo'o, he's got pace, good with the head and tackles like a dream, dropped right in and did very well. McLean put in a good shift too. Oikonomou - what a classy player, a few heart in mouth moments but overall a great show. Brittain and Tidser, both did very well, kept the momentum going and passed well, Tids unlucky with another mammoth strike with his left foot in the second half, third time lucky next week? Kiss started quietly, didn't do too much in the first half until the goal, took it well, scored an absolute belter in the second half and then got a little excited and went in all legs and adrenalin and got booked. Carey tested the keeper and did a lot of stuff on the deck (refreshing to see) and was value for money. Arquin ran about a lot, a few nice flicks and "stomached" his goal in well! Not sure why he got booked. Slew would have been my choice for MOTM, he ran about tirelessly, created a lot of chances and generally flew the flag very well.
broadsword Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Brilliant! He'll be lucky to see the season out setting the bar so high! Aye, I think Cardiff have backed a loser there. I might be sticking my neck out, but something tells me he'll screw up.
Parsonblue Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Those two couldn't play enough games in two lifetimes to be good enough for our first team Harsh but true, Maj, harsh but true.
Rover_Shaun Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 More bad news. The messageboard darling is off. Orr going on loan to Toronto
bigbrandjohn Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Ryan Nelsen. The gift that keeps on giving.
SoldierMo Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 So if hes on loan till end of season does his contract finish then too?
Parsonblue Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 So if hes on loan till end of season does his contract finish then too? Isn't he going on loan until December, when the American season is over? His contract ends at the end of next season.
yoda's brother Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 More bad news. The messageboard darling is off. Orr going on loan to Toronto the bad news is that its only a loan
had.e.nuff Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Isn't he going on loan until December, when the American season is over? His contract ends at the end of next season. I think he is only contracted to 06/2014 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/bradley-orr/profil/spieler_16091.html
chaddyrovers Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Orr signed a new contract just after we got relegated. signed a new 3 year contract I believe. this wasn't made public at the time but a couple of journalists have said this. Transfermarkt is a good website for things like this but it aint going to know for sure unless the new contract deals are announce publicly. if we can get rid of DJ, Best, Orr, Rochina and maybe Goodwillie and Olsson this week or before end of January. I really hope that Bowyer can bring 2 or 3 players in. I still think we need a winger, striker with pace and another Centre Back if Dann leaves for Palace

tomphil Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Correct after that cowardly interview - Orr signed a new deal worth 20,000 + per week. On the back of that interview probably. Scum looking after scum. Jesus i'm angry after yesterday but i'll take what we have now anytime over even being in the Prem and infested by the self serving parasitic vermin that we were.
