It's sickening to see how everyone is going along with Bowyer because he's a 'good' manager.

Getting rid of Rochina is a bad decision but here you all are agreeing.

When Rhodes is gone, you'll all be agreeing.

Sickening. You lot deserve all you get from the scum Venkys.

Weird to see all these people giving Rochina fellatio...

Hi den, sorry to be a pain but that team you have beneath your text can't possibly be correct. Haverty and Harrison never played in the same team I'm afraid. Tell me your first game and I can tell you what the team was.

Ok wise one, tell us what Rochina has done since he joined us except have a winge and warm the bench?

Personally I would have started him for 4/6 games to let him prove himself, but Bowyer clearly doesn't fancy him.

Who knows what happens in the future, we could have a new manager by the time his loan spell is finished, if

we don't reach the play-offs.

Bowyer seems to like his 'own lads.'

I do find it quite odd that he hasn't been given a second chance this season. He looked a class above against Derby.

It is strange - unless he made Bowyer aware that he wanted out. Personally I would have liked to see Bowyer give him one last chance to establish himself - I had hoped he would be the catalyst for a good second half of the season (maybe that player will now be Marshall ?)

It's hardly sickening. What has Rochina ever done to warrant that over the top response?

@SkySportsPeteO: Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has flown to India to meet with the club's owners the Venkys to discuss transfer plans. #BRFC

Hil ferkin arious. 3/4 into a window and they are duscussing it now AND they are taking the manager away from the team for 3 days straight after two batterings, one if which was embarrassing in its paucity

I don't think anyone is just `agreeing` with Bowyer. I personally don't think Rochina is a good player. He's a skilful player but not a good player, there is a difference. He may well start utilising his obvious talent to become a good player but he needs games to achieve that. It's difficult to give him the run of games he needs when we have Dunn and Gestede who offer more than he does right now.

Who is going to be agreeing that's it's a good thing when we sell Rhodes? No one wants to see him go, including Bowyer, but is it realistic to think we can hold onto him indefinitely?! No, of course not.

looks like we could have out on loan: Orr, DJ, rochina, Slew, Songo', Judge, Marrow and possibly more by the end of the window.Ok they are leaving the building for now but we must still be paying say a combined £30k a week to them whilst they are away just to get them out. And guess what? then they all come back to the trough again in Summer. Well played Rovers , very astute. Thats 7 of our players going and they are all sh1te.Shows waht crap we have accumulated.

But lets go and sign Waghorn.....for gods sake!!

Just what are we turning into .....a very very average squad that wont come close to getting us back up anytime soon and meantime we are up to our eyes in debt.

The stark reality of what is happening to our beloved club is becoming uncomfortably real. We have gone from High Street Flagship to corner shop and its cost an absolute fortune to do so.

Is anybody going to be held responsible or are we all loving this stability lark??? Cos this quest to become PNE is p1ssing me right off.

I do wish the OWNERS would be a bit more honest

He's said its to get him some games after his shoulder surgery set him back and we'll pick it up again in summer

If that was the case we wouldn't have included a purchase option in the deal

Amended that for you seen as everything he says comes from Pune.

Not a pain at all Tyrone. The team I have in my sig was cobbled together from that link in my sig. I guessed what it was. I definitely saw Haverty play though.

I'm pretty sure my first game was against Middlesbrough,at Ewood in the FA Cup in 1962.

Finally!!! A man who speaks my language. This "Bowyer has made us more stable" argument is wearing really thin now... It's right but we NEED to push on now and TRY to get promotion.

Do you trust th'Indians to choose an adequate replacement Neal? They can't even appoint a competent board, never mind go through a thorough managerial selection, ultimately appointing the right man. For Christs sakes they've had 4 or 5 stabs at it already.

Better the devil you know. Bowyer might not be as tactically astute as you would like but at least for the first time in 3 years he has the brought some pride back to the club.

Unfortunately for us it might be too little too late as financial peril hangs over us. The only thing that could save us is promotion. Is that likely to happen if we bring in a new manager? Not forgetting that I'm almost certain these players would be gutted if Bowyer was potted.

Frustrating as it is to us all, unfortunately, we have to be happy with stability. Without Bowyer, there is no doubt that we would be playing league one football right now, and quite possibly, facing the prospect of relegation to the fourth tier, for the first time in the clubs history. Be careful what you wish for, as we all want to be back in the premier league, but this could be a whole lot worse at this stage and may well soon be so!

After what the club has been through the last few years, we do need a bit of perspective and learn to walk before we can run. However, i think its time now for Bowyer to take a few risks. I'd be stunned if this side was in danger of relegation this season, so why not set the side up to be a tad more attack minded and really have a crack at the play offs? We have got pockets of talent in this side and other than QPR and Leicester, there is nothing to fear in this division. The difference between our side and the Forest one was not huge. If i'm sat here in May and watching the playoffs unfurl without any Rovers involvement i'll be pig sick. Because, although our side are no world beaters, neither is anyone else in the division. I predicted a midtable finish this year, but i've been surprised at how close we have been to well fancied sides this season. With the need for promotion, the most prolific striker in the division and a wage bill of epic proportions, i think we will have missed a trick if we let the season peter out without having had a real go at some of these bog average sides.

I am not laying this solely at GB's door by the way.My point is that when you look at it closely this is not stability. Its a slide further down the greasy pole.Look whats happening to our squad and therfore the prospects of getting out of this division in an upward direction.Gb is a safe pair of hands for sure but the Club hasnt got a leader anywhere in its ranks. Its people who when challenged with the hard questions who will shrug their shoulders and say''what can we do , we have to take our instructions from the owners.''

That might be true but as long is it continues to happen it becomes ever decreasing circles with less and less wriggle room financially and a downsizing of numbers and quality on the playing side. And we should all know where that leads after a period of trying to defy gravity.

So i don't subscribe to this stability bit.W have steadied to a point of being bang average in a sh1te division but the club is going backwards by standing still in the middle of its debt pile. And meanwhile nobody anywhere in sight is either capable or has the desire to grab this thing by the throat before it truly descends into a tail spin.

I am not trying to be a doom monger but look what is happening-or more to the point what isnt!!

Cheap and cheerful bodies will not move us forward or upward and therfore can never be a solution.

Will somebody with an ounce of authority in the Club please stand up and tell us where this is going!!!

So far we haven't shipped out any players I would like to keep.

Hopefully Orr and Best will go as well.

If Bowyer gets in one or two of the quality of cairney and gestede we will be better placed as a squad and a club. Bunn on loan would be great.

Not disputing it Patrick but i would stand by to be pig sick if i were you. When we mean play offs we are very quickly talking about 6th place and 5th at a push.Nothing between us and Forest? they have beaten us twice and stuffed us 4-1 on sat !! They aren't world beaters but are oragnised and have momentum which is crucial. We are still busy weeding nobs out of our squad and keeping them out of the dressing room for fear of pollution.

You can't get promotion against that scaenario and nobody knows whats going to happen next.

Derby on Sat is crucial and once again our manager is dragged to India to discuss ''transfers'' FFS its a shambles of a set up with owners who have no clue what they are involved in.

We play some tidy stuff but now and again the inconsistency that mediocrity brings will kick in -like Saturday and thats why your mid table prediction is bob on.

Oh i fully expect to be TBTF. And i agree that the shambolic nature of the club and trips back and forth to India is as it ever was - ludicrous.

My fading hope for the play offs is based on one thing and one thing only. If you offered Robinson, Dann, Hanley (questionable), Cairney, King, Rhodes and even Best to any club in this division, without any financial restrictions, i would bet that the take up would be between 90-100%.

I like Bowyer and have been vocal in my support, probably to the point of becoming even more boring than usual. Personally speaking i think we owe him a debt of gratitude. Most others seem to disagree with that. Such is life. But i just can't see the point in setting up so conservatively from here on in. Whats to lose?

It's weird, as I thought the two home games over Xmas were crucial, and we blew it, yet we are still in contention. Following GB's lovely sojourn to Loonland this week, will he come out and say Mrs Loon expects promotion, or that she has said sod going up, in favour of consolidation following their appalling management of the club?

Or, as I suspect, the same old platitudes......
