chaddyrovers Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Kilgallon had a good game yesterday. his through ball to Rhodes create the goal for Gestede. was excellent pass. Kilgallon wasn't at fault for the goal but Williamson for not stopping the ball through into letting it by him. was a easy inception to made. we need a Centre Back(Dawson or McCarthy) if Dann goes. a winger someone with pace like Ibe or Lingard would be a good loan signing. a striker in to be the back up to Rhodes and Gestede. plus it look like Dabo is going to sign on loan aswell

dingles staying down 4ever Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 i thought Kilgannon's distribution from the back yesterday was poor, not that Danns is any better , but to say Kilgannon had a great game is stretching it a bit ,he was ok, no better no worse Who released Rhodes in the build up to Rovers goal. It was better than Dann's aimless balls
Ricky Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hopefully we can start a bidding war between Norwich and Palace
Butty Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Kilgallon has not put a foot wrong whenever i have seen him, including yesterday, was MOTM for me. And their goal was not a hoof down the middle either, built up down the left and Williamsom messed up with a fresh air kick that caught everyone out of position. Thought Kilgallon was actually very solid at the back yesterday and had a better game than Hanley. Probably his best game for us so far, Kilgallon.
Butty Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Be easier to change your name. However.... to accommodate Kilgallon Handley is now in Danns position and yesterday I thought he wasn't as 'close' to Henley as Dann would have been. Henley as a result got targetted by Derby and was rather taken the cleaners. A subtle difference but one that the defence will 'feel' more than might be apparent to the spectators .... if that makes sense. Most of Derbys attacks in the second half came from their left flank, Cairneys support for Henley was poor at times and I think GB saw that with the Kane change
savage90 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 We desperately need players who are ready to make an immediate impact. Whether Dabo is one who will, I've no idea. We should be looking to pick up PL fringe players/ youngsters on loan.
Backroom Mike E Posted January 26, 2014 Backroom Posted January 26, 2014 I'm assuming he'd be keen to prove himself, and at least put himself about. More than can be said for Williamson atmo.

Is it just me or does Cairney look like a star for an hour and then wilt and go missing. ? I dont ever recall him finishing a game strongly.Mind you we never seem to as a team other than the cavalry charge against Brum. Lets hope that Dabo is a better option than Modeste was!!
Brfcrule1 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 That's unfair Savio you are basically saying its killgallons fault because Williamson plays in front of him Sorry Tom I did not mean to imply it was only one persons fault & pick on Killa but between all 4 players in the centre of both defence & Midfield that ball should have been cleared they all need to take a portion of the blame equally for not dealing with it but mainly Willo for that air kick.
T.J.Newton Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Cairney does always seem to start puffing and panting after about an hour, maybe its partly because he's playing wider than he is used tomeaning he's sprinting around more and his body's not been trained for all that running(as he normally just plays in the centre, needs to work on it anyway.

neophox Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 If Dann goes we must buy Craig Dawson if we want to challenge for playoffs. Also french u21 international Bryan Dabo coming in on loan tomorrow from Montpellier.
neophox Posted January 26, 2014 Author Posted January 26, 2014 Can't see Rovers getting McCarthy as he just returned after 18 months out. My bet is Craig Dawson who can score goals as well as defend.
Amo Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Have we actually been linked with Dawson or is it all wishful thinking? I read Wigan are in for him.
T.J.Newton Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Amarillo- you have outdone yourself with your latest avatar, welldone, that is one seriously perfect looking body(with natural looking big boobs)
had.e.nuff Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 If Dann goes we must buy Craig Dawson if we want to challenge for playoffs. chaddyrovers Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Have we actually been linked with Dawson or is it all wishful thinking? I read Wigan are in for him. Wigan n Bolton only want a loan. Rovers want a permanent deal not a loan. This all depends on dann going. even Nicko has agree with that. J*B on Brfcs has said on twitter this morning has said he is the one Rovers want to replace Dann with. Only depends on what WBA want to do tbh. either sell or loan.
JAL Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 A bit worried about Bryan Dabo only played 14 games and 1 u21 since 2010 accordinng to wiki It certainly doesnt inspire and certainly doesnt support a promotion challenge and certainly doesnt fit the Bowyer has money to spend headline from last week.
West Yorks Rover Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 A bit worried about Bryan Dabo only played 14 games and 1 u21 since 2010 accordinng to wiki He's only 21, well nearly 22, played a few last season did'nt he ? Thankfully he's only a loan, so not much risk, I assume GB has had someone check him out.
pontyrover Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I'd be happy with a few loans to bolster the squad and provide some competition but what would really be interesting is if we pulled off a shrewd signing like Souness did when he brought Sparky in back in 2000. The influence and impact he brought to the club pushed us on that year, I distinctly remember him bagging a few against Tranmere and when we turned the corner with a win at Wimbledon around this time in 2001 - we never looked back. A solid, experienced old pro would compliment our young squad perfectly. Any suggestions?
Kamy100 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 If it is a loan deal to a championship club then Dawson will want to go to Bolton, he loved it there last season. However if Dann is sold AND the owners allow Bowyer to spend some of that cash then Dawson would be someone he would want to try and sign. But from what I have heard from Pune is that the vast majority of the money from sales will be going towards bring operating costs down and with some of it being used for loan signings. This is also consistent with what I have heard about the owners reviewing things in May about the future, so loans signings at this point make sense.

So the review would take place after the March deadline for a ten point deduction this season? So I wait for the next ward round, powerless in my hospital bed, knowing that my physician is my poisoner!
Kamy100 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Who knows with these clowns, but at the moment the line coming out of Pune is that they will review things at the end of the season and see where they go from there. Venky's don't forward plan so I would be amazed if they have an actual exit strategy so no doubt in May if they decide that they want out it will be total meltdown.

Could they be exercising this and the next window as an opportunity to extract more cash from Rovers before they drop it.
