Boro are not broke at all. during the summer Boro put in 4 mil bid for Jelle Vossen from a club in Belgium. club didnt want to sell him

A fan had a picture with Best and when why he wasnt playing..he is reporting said waiting for manager to be sack. how true it is I dont know.

I dont see us signing a keeper at all. now we have signed Cairney and Gestede pernanent. Rovers focus now will cutting the wage bill.

Plus Spurs are not going to let out their second keeper incase get injured during a game or send off. plus he will play in some games.

3.5 year deal for Gestede after he has basically had ONE decent touch of the ball in an uneventful loan period AND we paid money for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not done enough to earn anything other than an extension to his loan deal.

Also that fat simpleton Shaw has come back out of his hole with his tongue extending all the way to Pune to a probe some back passages

Derek "arse rimming" Shaw said “We have to thank the owners for supporting the club and the manager’s wishes.”

It all beggars belief !!!!!!!!!

Beggars fkin belief.

I presume we did our research before signing him and are not judging him on a game and half in rovers colours. The loan wasnt to have a look at him, it was to get him before the window opened

Gestede was always going to sign, we basically got him a month earlier on loan.

So Chaddy, let me get this right... You actually believe that Boro are paying Given £60k a week!! Really!!!!

Did I say that??? Nope I didnt

Boro will be paying half of his wages I would think.

cant believe People are moaning about Gestede contract. He was always going to sign for us pernanent in January. we got him on loan to get fit and to play some games before we signed him. Bowyer must have done alot of research before signing him.

Assumptions? At Ewood? These days?

Considering we are not buying from the top shelf these days when it comes to player talent, I'd say Bowyer looks to have a pretty good strike rate with his signings so far.

Im certain he's done his research on rudy, so if GB is happy, then Im happy.

Brilliant compared to the last few managers at the very least.

I haven't wrote him off. We should have extended his loan period so he could actually earn a bloody contract.

No wonder we have half a squad who take the kean seeing as it's that damn easy to get a payday

The loan is irrelevant, paperwork apart we signed him in November.

Regarding the ones he has paid money for Cairney is a very good signing whilst the jury is very much out on Gestede and Marshall.

Paid money for evans who looks a very good player. Marshall has shown enough in past few weeks that he has what it takes to be a good signing, he just has to maintain that now.

So out the 4 he paid cash for, 3 look good and the other hasnt had enough gametime to be judged either way

If we are going to operate in a sustainable way then most of our signings will be unproven to some extent - the proven ones cost a lot of money.

We could loan players until they prove they are good - but then we would miss out on a lot of them as other clubs notice them. We only closed the Cairney deal because he took the almost unheard of step of telling Hull he wouldn't sign for another Championship club.

Some of our buys will not develop into world beaters - but there might be the odd David Berntley or Chris Samba in there. It is the transfer policy that kept us punching above our weight in the Premiership.

Tony Mowbray really fancied Leon best during his time at Boro , cant see that happening now with the new man , however Leeds are in the market for a striker and are showing an interest in him , there wont be much of a fee , but i'm told they are willing to match his wages , it could even be a loan until end of season to begin with
