Well it worked so massive credit to Bowyer and the team and staff. Pity it took the loss of Lowe to go a bit more attack minded. Should set up similar to that a bit more as we have the players. Always said this side is always better when we get amongst the oppo from the off instead of trying to contain teams.

If you want cheering up Al you can nip round here, give us a couple of quid and I'll gladly do 3 or 4 step overs in our back garden before kicking the ball over our fence.

Anyway, he scores when he wants...

Having met you Bob I'm sure that the sight of you doing 3 or 4 step overs would cheer me up no end. Might take my mind off the chest surgery I have to undergo next week.

Good man, thanks for taking that in the spirit it was intended. Hope all goes well next week for you Al.

I can see a win here. we tend to play better against the better league teams.

Going for 2-1 Rovers win with Gestede and Rhodes scoring.

my team would be:- Eastwood; Henley, Dann, Hanley,.Spurr, Judge, Williamson, Cairney, Marshall, Rhodes, Gestede.

subs:- Kean, Kilgallon, King, Marrow,.Taylor, Dunn, Rochina.

COYB!!!

You, sir, are a visionary. Hope you had a bet.

A quick aside; Rhodes has 16 in the league this year. 2nd top scorer. Anybody questioning what he brings to the side should consider finding another hobby.

Great win. Shame we have City next, as some of our relatively young squad might be vulnerable to losing confidence if we take a hiding, which City are sadly in the habit of dishing out.

13 points behind Burnley and the automatic promotion spots. That's just over half a point's worth of ground to be recovered per game. Doesn't sound such a big ask when you think of it like that.

When's the last time we got back to back away wins?

Eeeh, Claire. That took a few minutes.

March 11th 2009 - Fulham 2-1 (El-Hadji Diouf, Jason Roberts)

That was after March 1st 2009 - Hull 2-1 (Stephen Warnock, Keith Andrews)

Which would make it Big Sam's watch. Ironic given his generally appalling away record.

Fantastic result and performance. Just couldn't see how that line up would work. On paper, the team had no balance, would be overrun in midfield and had our best winger at rb. Fair play to GB, he made it work to get our best result of the season.

Cairney and Gestede must be signed permanently.

Hanley has been a rock at the back this season. Apart from that wobble against Wigan, he's forged a solid partnership with Dann and the pair of them have been consistent performers. The same cannot be said for King. He's all pace but no brains, managing to frustrate both the opposition and his own supporters in equal measure.

How many games have you seen?

In the early weeks, King was excellent and a real threat. He has struggled with niggles I think in recent weeks.

You rate Rochina as if he is a key player for us, he is very similar in that for everything he does well, he does a few things wrong. What is different with him?

Hanley looked a bit rash at first for me, let the team down v Wigan and I felt was slightly off his standards set last year when I said that. In recent weeks we have been much better in defence and Dann and Hanley have improved.

Maybe Jason Lowe has been found out.

Most of us have known this for a long time, he's a slow minded, ball watching defensive midfielder that bizarrely cant put a tackle in(or just refuses to), Though I still expect that he will go straight back into our next starting lineup.

Excellent result today(but we should have got more from brum and shef weds, why do we always have to do things the hard way!!!!!!!)

Was at the game in the home end with a Leeds fan mate.

Was quite an experience. Loved hearing how little their supporters rate us. Was almost too much when our second went in !!

The game itself thought all midfield were great. Taylor was a constant pest. Textbook away performance.

Was good to sit opposite our fans for a change. Plenty of noise easily drowning out 29000 Leeds fans. Well done all.

Ha, they thought they were going to come to Ewood and spank us at the home game, then we do the double over them. ^_^
