Stuart Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 So Bowyer is going attacking line up and still people moaned. Give up some fans. looks like 4-3-3 with leeds playing 3-5-2. Plus Kane is injured and King still not fully fit yet. If Bowyer picked himself you'd be saying it was a good move.
RevidgeBlue Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Apologies if I've missed it, what was the bench?
FGS5635 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Apologies if I've missed it, what was the bench? subs: Kean, Kilgallon, King, Songo'o, Rochina, Judge, Mahoney.
AspRover Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I've been jotting down lineups on a piece of paper and I have half a dozen equally possible formations with those players...
RevidgeBlue Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Not as bad as people are making out, plenty of attacking options with Rochina and King and Judge did ok against Brum. Where's Leon, left at home to play the latest games Father Christmas left him on his PS4?
Backroom Mike E Posted January 1, 2014 Backroom Posted January 1, 2014 I'd like us to be more lighthearted w/ Campbell. Gets booked when he wants and (if he scores) gets booked when he wants/ dodgy keeper etc
darrenrover Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Leeds prior gameplan will certainly be flummoxed! COYB!
dingles staying down 4ever Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Apologies if I've missed it, what was the bench? A long wooden thing that people sit on.
Doug Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Well, that's an interesting line up!! Cannot see it doing much is my gut feeling, but I guess Bowyers hand has been dealt a lot of selection problems due to injurys. Come om Rovers!!
adsfortheblues Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 This is one of the biggest problems for me, the amount of changes every single game, there isn't a consistent team selection which is worrying, just tells me the manager isn't sure what to do.
davulsukur Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Slightly alarming that Bowyer has changed so much so fast. Must be 4-3-3. Campbell starting is a big call and away at Leeds for his first game back, really?

Yes because there is no such thing as a balance get a grip Chaddy People wanted a more adventurous team at home against one of the divisions bottom sides not away against Leeds To me it seems the team selection of a desperate man (or someone Trying to prove a point) may just work and I bloody hope it does
SoldierMo Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Rochina needs a run of 5-10 games would have started him instead of campbell
FGS5635 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Rochina needs a run of 5-10 games would have started him instead of campbell Agreed, but it seems bowyer has lost faith with him for some reason. Hardly selected him at all since he regained fitness

Dunnfc Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Is it not a 3-4-3 Dann Hanley Spurr Marshall Taylor Williamson Cairney Getsede Rhodes DJ
Neal Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I admire Bowyers willingness to change things but the problem is... He shouldn't of changed anything for the Wednesday game bar Rochina for Dunn. Now we're throwing a desperate attacking 3 away at a difficult Leeds team when he's been too restrained at home. I really hope this works out but overall, this has been a poor performance from Bowyer these past 2 weeks.
Al Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Campbell in and Rochina out says it all for me. Glad I stayed home.
Makey11 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 16 yr old on bench to. Must have really high hopes for him to throw him in so soon. Damm so many talking points with this lineup, dont know where to start The kid is the real deal, trained once with the under 21s and was instantly promoted to train with first team. If he keeps his head down the lad will go places! Glad to see him on the bench already.
Amo Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 I've no objection to a cavalier approach away from home in this league. That said, I can't get my head around that line-up. It's all well and good cramming three strikers in there but if the team's shapeless then it won't be anymore attacking than if Rhodes was on his lonesome.
