Even fans who started watching this season could tell you that

Every time we get a good couple of results we find ourself with a good chance to push on and we manage to blow it needlessly

I'm just hoping this time it's different

Agree, really hope we go on a great run now but the fact is as you say we've been here before and have been left banging our heads against the wall at full time. Hopefully tomorrow is different!!

Bowyer changed a winning team for the Wednesday game & looked what happened. Surely the best thing to do would be to play the same team that beat Leeds.

I think we're a good side but a bloody frustrating one at that. I've still got the bitter feelings of Wednesday & Brum in mind so I'm not feeling confident enough to say we'll win. Another win-less home performance will bring us right back to square 1 and unfortunately, that's what I'm used to from this underachieving yet talented team.

What I'd prefer to see, is us scoring first... IF we do that then we'll win comfortably.

1-1

its been like this ever since i started supporting rovers in the 60's.

we even tried to blow it when we won the prem.

hope we can get out of this mentality.

I went to the away fixture earlier in the season. We were extremely poor and were given a bloody nose.

Personally i hope king starts today, and dunn if fit.

Essential that we tear at them from the start and go for a couple of early goals.

Hopefully there will be a few more through the turnstiles too!

Robinson

Henley. Hanley. Dann. Spurr

Cairney. Lowe. Taylor

Marshall. Rhodes. Gestede

I'd go with this, pretty much same as leeds apart from moving Marshall up front and putting Henley at full back with Campbell on the bench.

We need to start attacking teams at home.

How can anyone contemplate not playing your game player ???

Rhodes scores goals .

You need goals to win,

This is the exact type of game we have struggled in this season, hopefully we will be more attacking and put them on the back foot.

An early Rovers goal is crucial.

Hi guys. Does anyone know if half-season tickets are still available? I had a look on my online account but nothing shows up on the 'season tickets' or 'events' categories. Surely they haven't all gone? ^_^

If you bought tickets for the Sheff Weds and Birmingham games they should knock the price of those off a half season ticket as well.

Yeah, it was nice to get £25 notes back for that awful Boxing Day game. :tu:

Just hope that the only similarities today are that we're playing an 'average' team from Yorkshire at home.

In my opinion it's a matter of choosing the right players. Formation can be fluid. If we go with one defensive midfielder we will win. If we go with two we will struggle to score.

Rhodes and Gestede up front. Rochina on the bench and Campbell in Blackburn town centre a long way from Ewood.

I really didn't want to go to the City game, but did, and thoroughly enjoyed it.....even got my 5 seconds of fame as BT sport apparently showed my noggin towards the end of the game in the BE! Today is an acid test. It is a must win. No excuses, GB will be tested to see how far he has grown into the job.

Need to do a professional job and beat a Donny side that must be short of confidence. Other than Evans, we as near full strength as we can be - would like him to start with JR & Rudy up front, one defensive midfielder and see where that gets us!

But if we win games we get points and if we get points we may get in the play offs which you don't want

Experienced many play off matches with Rovers involved Tom? If you had you'd not be mocking Abbeys point I'd wager.

This is the kind of game we've struggled with recently. They will come here to defend and hope to hit us on the break or from a set piece. The onus is on us to break them down which we have found difficult this season.

There have also been times this season where we have had some great results and on a real high and then our next game is an `easy` one but come up short. That is the situation we find today, off the back of two excellent performances and result and now go into a game we should win. We're inconsistent so I'm going for a draw/loss today.

Rhodes will score today though. He won't have liked being rested against City so will be well up for this one to send a "don't rest me again" message to GB.

Hopefully Dunny will show some flashes of his brilliance if he gets on the pitch today. I think we're going to need it to break Donny down. This is exactly the sort of game where we've let ourselves down recently, so hopefully we'll actually win this time.

King has to be on the bench, he lacks any end product:

Robbo

Henley Dann Hanley Spurr

Taylor Cairney Lowe Marshall

Dunn Rhodes
