Thing is, Bowyer comes out and says "I don't understand the booing" (not that I've ever booed Rovers) but you've got to give the fans reason to get behind you. Playing so safe at home isn't the answer, especially when there's much more to come from them... He needs to have more faith that this these players can hurt teams if he lets them off the leash.

I don't want people to think that i'm against Bowyer, I think he's a top bloke and really want him to do well but his decisions and tactics make me want to pull my hair out at times. PLAY ONE HOLDING MIDFIELDER AGAINST DONCASTER FFS! Leave Cairney in the middle. Makes so many decisions that just invite pressure and make the team play on the back foot. If our best passer of the ball is Cairney and you're losing the midfield battle, then bring him in the middle! He keeps the ball better than anyone else we have & if they don't have it then they cant score... It's that simple.

Drives me round the bend.

a win is a win but you have to ask questions here, a game at home we should of been buzzing because of the recent results, and yet we get so negative on the pitch again, sitting back defending a 1-0 is not good enough in this league as more times then not you will be punished.

I cant wait for evans to come back and warm the bench for us because bowyer will never drop lowe or Williamson.... I would love to see the formation we had away to leeds but with evans for Williamson.

still 2 points of play offs isn't it? he has done well bowyer but he needs to be more brave, we should be battering teams like Doncaster.

The win is all that really matters but the fact they should have got a point late on indicates we approached that half totlally wrong

They were never in the game till we say back

Not keen on holding the ball in the corner whilst still in Normal time seeing as we gave it away several times

Rhodes and Rudy were great together

Somehow walking home less enthused than I should be after a vital win

Onwards!

Win's a win but Bowyer needs to stop with this negative double-bagging. There's no need for two holding midfielders at home against a bottom-three side, particularly at the expense of Cairney. He's a technically gifted player who can control games at this level but he's no help pushed out on the wing. What a waste of a player. I'm not even sure if Bowyer is being deliberately conservative here, or that he rates Williamson, Cairney and golden-boy Lowe so highly that he's reluctant to drop any of them, so he just shoehorns all three into the same side, regardless of one being badly out of position.
