Just seen Ossie Ardiles has been severely injured in an accident on the Falklands.

Was that in the Port Stanley (population 10 + 500 sheep) rush hour ? Like the Japanese soldier still fighting WW2 in 1974, has Ossie never surrendered ?

I would imagine it was outside Stanley, the roads there are pretty decent, every where else they are crap, lucky he didn't end up in one of the many unmarked Argentinian minefields that are still live there.

At a guess he was visiting one or some of the battle sites or the Argentine Military Cemetary.

An Argie filming a documentary on the Falkland Islands? Completely circumstantial, but last time the Argies filmed there, it was all over the papers just before the Olympics and that Sean Penn bloke got involved.
