jim mk2 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Stuck in the wilds of east Anglia today. Blimey it's windy. Shame about Marshall but you can understand Williamson coming on. We need to steady the ship after conceding 9 goals in 2 games. A draw would be OK today.
SoldierMo Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Just once if we could have a flippin fully fit squad
Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 Grant getting plenty of stick from DE!
savage90 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Our entire bench today needs replacing if we're to have a squad strong enough for promotion.
The Rover of Finland Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Marshall out for months would be a major set back. These keeps coming and the squad is so skin already. The players shifted out wouldn´t be good enough so it´s not the case. Getting in 3-5 good enough before Friday evening is a huge task. Sounds like loans will be coming during the spring like year ago.
West Yorks Rover Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Will Hughes coming on, don't let Hanley near him he'll get sent off !
Proudtobeblue&white Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 Tom C really is wasted where he is - bit of a nothing half. Rudy has had three good efforts. JR too far away from him. Sadly lacking a touch of class!
West Yorks Rover Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Derby seem to be coming into it now, are we sitting back ?
Amo Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Shame about Marshall but you can understand Williamson coming on. We need to steady the ship after conceding 9 goals in 2 games. Need I remind you we started Lowe & Williamson in those games?
G Somerset Rover Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Williamson and Lowe both played in the last two games, so stop on the wind up Jim. Beat me to it Amo! He knows this...he's just fishing.
jim mk2 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Horrible day for a game of footy. No goals anywhere in the championship. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a 0-0. Need I remind you we started Lowe & Williamson in those games? Exactly. No time for experiments. Get back to where we were before the City game.
Stuart Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Such a shame to lose Marshall and have to revert to plan A. He was doing a great job down the wing. Exciting first quarter, disappointing second.
G Somerset Rover Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 As for a lack of options on the bench. Firstly, GB could have brought Dunn on to go for it, and secondly, it's been his decision to let players leave on loan before getting replacements in.

I wouldn´t blame him for loaning out the players he has. He should get a medal for that!
Oklahoma Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 4 games in the championship today, all 0-0 at halftime
Bucksrover Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Bowyer does it again. Williamson is dire. And we are now camped in our half. So angry! Did he learn nothing from leeds? Or the contrasting halves in the brum game.
rovers11 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Massive blow losing Marshall with what looks a serious injury. Don't really have any real quality out wide now. Look dangerous from set pieces and that seems like the most likely way we'll score today. Need to buy a new winger or two next week.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 25, 2014 Moderation Lead Posted January 25, 2014 We need to attack, or at the very least, play players with a propensity to...
Amo Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 "Who will be the braver manager to go for three points in the second half?" Place your bets.
Oklahoma Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Our bench is too poor. Of all of them, I think that only Eastwood, kane and Williamson are options for Bowyer. The others (Dunn, Olsson, Morris) are there to warm the bench. Mahoney is for the future.
Rover_Shaun Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Need to buy a new winger or two next week. Where would that leave Cairney?* *In the mind of GB
