You're right about the overreactions, although in my opinion we're fighting for the future of our club with every game we play.

Too little too late Savage. This car crash has been going on for just over 3 years. Bowyer has taken the steering wheel and has tried his utmost to prevent it. People blaming him now is quite frankly embarrassing, and the abuse he gets on here is shocking given the very very good things he's done for the club in the last 8 or 9 months.

Reasonably so, he can only select the players he's got. I'm sure he doesn't tell them to go out and play at less than their best. What they do on the park is pretty much up to them, unless he's got some kind of Xbox type controller in his hands which controls the players.

Therefore we need a decent experienced captain at the club and on the pitch , can sign and play as many young players as you want but without direction this is what happens.

Just to send some of you scuttling towards the level crossing at Daisyfield but here's my depressing stat of the day

We have 39 points now anything less than a draw on Saturday puts us 1 point BEHIND last season after 29 games (40 points)!

Irrelevant regards ot this season I know but results wise it shows not much has changed :(

Not good enough

The minimum you expect there is a win if you have even a modicum of ambition, to come away without that is just not good enough, blame the ref if you will there are 89 other minutes in the game to win it.

Don't care if we played well or were unlucky we had to win and failed

How people can say stick with Dour Bowyer I don't know he is clearly holding the team back with a good manager we would be top six at least. But Bowyer seems to have settled for mid table mediocrity. And he's either stubborn or a complete idiot, as he makes the same tactical errors every game and yet he never changes his tactics.

My goodness.....that is a frightening stat. If I drank alcohol I would be getting the bottle out.

I still haven't heard a journalist question Bowyer on this but his determination to regularly play Lowe alongside Williamson has cost us our reasonable chance of a top 6 place. EVERY Rovers fan I have spoken to has made the same point.

Where is the advice for Bowyer, as December was the time to stand up and advise the Manager that we have been massively more successful when we have attempted to secure a 2 goal lead rather than immediately trying to protect a 1 goal lead, regardless of the state of the game or the opposition?

Apologies, I know this has been repeatedly stated on here.

Very, very frustrated.

Bowyer out stupid tactician

Are you ignoring me Mo? I was asking what you thought of Oakwell or Barnsley as a whole? Easy journey up there was it?

I assume you were there as you are certain that Bowyer is a tw4t and that his tactics have been responsible for our draw this evening?

GB can't go to Madame and say he's not good enough - she tells him to do his best with no money, he is scared sh*tless to lose, so we are mid-table, let's get used to it.......interesting that the donkeys have lost 5-1 at free scoring Reading....surely for the taking Sat, but what will his tactics be?

Well said. Bowyer is a good bloke. That doesn't mean he's good enough, but he shouldn't be slagged off.

The real culprits

Mr Kean

Mr Anderson

The Raos

There is only so long that can wash. One day we have to emerge from living in the past. He has been decently backed financially (fees and wages), well for a basket case club riddled with debt he has.

I've said it before but "not being Steve Kean" only takes you so far
