roversR4ever Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 afterall you don't want to be shut out of Ewood and then watch the Seahawks shut out the Broncos lol
tomphil Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 My title was simply a reaction to the last two games, and a discussion point......every game is a must win, because if you do throughout the season you win the league! It would be good to win, as we have a tricky Feb, and it would be good to put a run together. Naturally we need to put the Dingles to the sword, irrespective of which bits of the ground are netted off. How many donkey lashers expected so far? They'd only sold around 800 by yesterday but they expect a lot to pay on the day.
Bucksrover Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Will the penny finally drop and we play good attacking football for a full 90 minutes???!!! 3 up early on so Mahoney can have a full half of football. Yes - dreamland is nice this time of year!
Blue blood Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Well I'd say it's probably must win on two counts. One: if we are to have any chance of playoffs (unlikely but still theoretically possible) then games like this against dire teams need to be 3 points. Two: If we can't win these kind of games, then we're probably in a slump. That'd make it 5 without a win, and the further you get into a slump the harder it is to get out - as Blackpool are discovering. Especially with a tricky February coming up. Having said that even if we continue to slump the chances of us going down are totally minimal, Too many weak teams and too many points already gained for that to be a real danger. But a negative end to the season could really impact next season. However I fully expect us to win this one. Blackpool are all over the place and can't see them sorting themselves out for tomorrow. We played well in the first half vs Barnsley, and without a great defense I can see us getting the type of lead we can sit back and defend. Especially with the amount of goals Blackpool are scoring. All in all reckon a 2-0 or 2-1 victory to Rovers.
rovers11 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hate to say it, but fancy a shock Blackpool win here. Law of averages state they have to win a game at some point and can see that being tomorrow. Barry Ferguson will come back to haunt us.
Stuart Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Comfortable 1-0 home win.Contradiction in terms.I certainly won't be feeling comfortable!
FGS5635 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Hope conway starts tomorrow They have rushed through his papers so he's available for tommorrow. The options out wide are slim In my opinion bowyer will have to start him really

somersetrover Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 0-2. As Rovers begin their slide down the table as they did at the same stage last year.
tkturner Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 3-1 Rovers Dabo screamer, Conway bossing it and assist for 2 from Rhodes…
Backroom Tom Posted January 31, 2014 Backroom Posted January 31, 2014 Comfy win, Conway to have an Emerton debut 3-0 Rhodes x 2 and Cairney
bob fleming Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 0-2. As Rovers begin their slide down the table as they did at the same stage last year. That's the spirit!
darrenrover Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 We're due a good performance in our topsy turvy season. I fancy us to turn over the Lasher's comfortably 3-0. ( But Wednesday, Brum, Barnsley?.......)
roversfan99 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Robinson © Kane Hanley Kilgallon Spurr King Dabo Cairney Conway Gestede Rhodes Subs: Kean, Henley, Best, Dunn, Taylor, Lowe, Mahoney. Should be an easy win.
Josh Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 2-1. Robinson with the opener after the wind helps the ball loop over Gilks' (I think he's their keeper) head
