DavidMailsTightPerm Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Ola Jordan at this rate. We can but dream
Neal Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Cryer tweeting that Liam Feeney is joining on loan from Millwall... So we're signing a player who's not good enough for Bolton & Millwall. How exiting.
Backroom Tom Posted March 7, 2014 Author Backroom Posted March 7, 2014 Seems pointless but hopefully proven wrong
LDRover Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Is Bowyer a man with a plan? Not sure myself, to paraphrase nicko, these signings look like 2 o'clockers in the nightclub.
G Somerset Rover Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Millwall fans having a right laugh about the possibility of us signing Feeney on loan. Admittedly I can't recall watching him but he sounds kean. We'll be stocked with widemen - that's for sure.
Riverside67 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Looks like were making the numbers up. Another journeyman midfileder........... how many do we need?
Backroom Tom Posted March 7, 2014 Author Backroom Posted March 7, 2014 Cameron Stewart all over But then again he did get an assist in this game last year
Jimmy612 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9015103/ The only positive news that I can find
bluefred Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 if true lets hope he can make us more consistant , because at the moment we are all over the show.
chaddyrovers Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Keane is an excellent loan signing and probably the best we could get in tbh. Feeney could be a useful signing. will add pace in the wide area where King has been injured and Taylor is out of form. only Conway playing well. Plus Marshall is injured and Judge out on loan.
Baz Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Feeney really? Why not play Varney out on the wing, its his best position (after the bench)? I honestly dont think we actually have a plan. Judge let go on an emergency loan, Feeney brought it. Best gone on emergency loan, Varney brought in. Dabo in on loan, but not fit enough to play. Keane in finally means we have 1 fit centre-halve, and likely Hanley will play carrying an injury.
somersetrover Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 How old is this feeney?? He turned 27 in January.

I have concluded that yours is parody account
ABBEY Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Wing & prayer is bowyers way and try not to lose before try to win .
Waggy76 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Wing & prayer is bowyers way and try not to lose before try to win . My feelings too...
47er Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Feeney really? Why not play Varney out on the wing, its his best position (after the bench)? I honestly dont think we actually have a plan. Get in loads of wingers on free transfers and pray that one works out?
McClarky Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Why would we need another midfielder? Surely Feeney is just a rumour isn't it. We'll end up like last year if we don't watch it with half the team being on loan and cash pouring out of the club at an alarming rate.
chaddyrovers Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Feeney is defo coming in. We need a winger in. King is just back from injury and Taylor out of form. Judge gone out on Loan. Marshall injured. Only Conway in form.
ABBEY Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Feeney is defo coming in. . Must be amazing being ITK
rovers11 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Not sure Feeney is the answer but we are crying out for some pace on the wings and in the team generally. Only King has any real pace in our squad and I'm glad GB has recognised this. Feeney has pace and made an impact when he was on loan at Bolton. He'll be cheap; if he turns out to be better than expected we can sign him in the summer, if not then we'll look elsewhere. Seems like a no lose signing to me. People say recall Judge instead of bringing in Feeney. I don't agree. We need someone with pace and Judge doesn't offer that. Judge is a decent player but a very similar player to Conway and Marshall but just not quite as good. Taylor works hard but is no more than a squad player and is better in a more central position. King is a frustrating but he does offer something none of our other players can as he can beat people for pace.
